Paul had great songs during The Beatles i could even say better than from John but obviously i never put down John. He was unique no doubt about it and he showed that more after break up of the beatles. I coukd say both if them were extremely talented. SGT Peppers is one if the best album the Beatles ever made. To me it is timeless classic Just unbelievable idea from cover to songs.

It's funny, I never thought Sgt Pepper was all that great, being a kind of hodgepodge of disparate tracks that were mostly just ok. Besides A Day In The Life, She's Leaving Home and Lucy In The Sky, there's nothing truly inspiring. It contains to me Harrison's worst song, Within You Without You, Lennon's two worst in Mr Kite and Good Morning Good Morning and a bunch of middling McCartney tracks, Fixing a Hole, Getting Better, Lovely Rita and When I'm 64, which he would copy the style to later create the better Maxwell's Silver Hammer. I much preferred their true masterpiece, Abbey Road, the White Album and really any other album they did from 65 on.
