Nice work
Appreciate it!
Hard work always play off😊
Yup!
nice man👌is it for sale?
@@KingsleyShields it sold a few months back
looks like his damaging it
@@CobaltO18 how so?
@@modifiedmechanix by applying all that unnecessary stress on the boot.
@CobaltO18 the boots are literally called flex boots and are designed for use with that tool.
You can de pin it clean wires with electric cleaner. Installing heat shrink tubing over wires if it's only insulation is bad . Install pins in new pigtail.
Those cv joints sometimes dont want to come off so this is a great solution in my opinion.
Going to suck when you gotta do all that again, but this time remove it to fix the other boot :P
@@mrsmith5114 it'll do inner boots without removing the axle too
What in the Star Wars tool set is THAT? I want it.
Well, unless you’re a technician that is making a living repairing cars..if you’re a DIY you are better off just yanking the axle and doing it the traditional way because that tool is got to be Hella expensive not to mention you have to have an air compressor so that’s neat and all but not very practical for most of us
Great buy...!!!
Ill take it if u dont want it, ive still got my Christmas card money left..... 😂
Not a very desirable car, but it's in great shape. It looks like that rear glass will be kinda hard to replace, other than that, if you can get it running driving, it will be a lot of fun. One thing I will stress to you is to be ABSOLUTELY sure to overhaul the entire brake system ! Good luck with her ! ......(( and yes, you got her for a good price ! ))
Great buy on that Packard. Love to see this one back on the road. Good luck with it.
That's a🎉' 52-'55 guess
You got the deal
Heck yeah. Just the books and magazines is worth that 😂👍👍👍 the Awesome car is purk.
Yes you got a deal I am jealous 😊

Yea that’s a great buy for 2200, nice an clean……!!!
That's a STEAL bro. Packard was considered the 'American Rolls Royce' up until the merger with Studebaker. Amazing condition for the price...👍🏁
@nsidor1234 thanks! About to post the 1st start videos
@modifiedmechanix Packard's storied history is amazing. And that venerable straight eight is known to be bulletproof in terms of reliability & longevity .
I'm so jealous. Packards we're a very high end car when they were new, competing with Cadillac and Rolls Royce. And the Patrician was the top of the line. The quality control was incredible for the time. They would take cars off the assembly line at random and put 50,000 miles on them, half full throttle high speed driving and half harsh offroading. Then they would disassemble the entire car, re design anything that got worn out and do it again. Packard was also famous for it's engineering. They invented a whole bunch of things like the V12 engine and the steering wheel. There's a few videos about it you can find. If I had a car like that I'd drive it every day.
@@howlerhusky8837 Right? 😉👍
Could you use that on a person? 🤔
❤❤❤❤❤
You haven't seen that in a while.... I should call him..
cheaper than that I'm guessing $1000 plus tool
Fits like a reused jonny

I said the same thing 🤦🏻♂️.
how are you turning the engine over by hand in this video? im about to attempt this on my truck. Thanks for vid!
@@dirtchucker a socket on the balancer or pry bar on flywheel teeth and inch it around
lemme just buy an expensive ass doohickey...
You can knock the end of the cv axle off and slide the boot back on and then put the end of the cv axle back on . Seems just as fast and most definitely cheaper than buying a special tool.
And the boot is not permanently stretched… much. 2 months later - split. Do the job right!
Sludge was keeping the trend running 🙌
Only new part fitters wil replace the axle Sometimes that circlip is hard to do with one hand and hammer in other hand if you alone That is a very handy tool
That is an amazing and cost saving automotive tool. Thank You for the video. Have A Productive Day! 🚗🛻🚙

most importantly do not wear gloves... axle grease is delicious!
What in the contraption is that thing?
Who wants to clean the bearings and replace the grease anyway. I am sure the existing grease is just fine. LOL
Hows the transmission?
