Here requesting more kevlin build updates. Especially the hybrid speedy type

I really like Kelvin and play on him a lot with a wr of 60%+ but I can't help feeling weaker as soon as game progresses forward. Early game - I can easily do 1v1, even 1v2. Beam is slowing, grenades dealing good damage and ice path just giving a great gank potential. But in the middle game I can barely do 1v1, and in the late game - I can't perform any solo kills. Beam doesn't scale good in a terms of damage ( it's more about slowing and debuffing ) and path is pretty useless in fights, cause as soon as you got shot you become slow af. His shooting potential also is very limited by start numbers and any other hero with attack items will perform better. He is still great at poke damage ( rapid charges + grenades = a lot of constant damage from high distance ) and he is great at healing & saving teammates but... I wish he had more carry potential. I wish beam would become stronger.

i feel like that heavy melee warning sound can be unfair, as a tekken player i know that generally people react faster to sound than sight

I actually rebind my ability cancel to E, then you can still jump while beaming

I only play Kelvin and Ivy, so selfishly I just eant to see more of that content. xD

I also wish they would give the beam some love. Kelvin is my favorite hero to play, but he feels so weak.

Melee kelvin is still a very good build, however it seems like everybody knows how to parry now. I've also switched to a more healing kelvin build and i'm glad you covered it

I have been having a bit of trouble with melee Kelvin too although it has been better than everything else I tried. I started playing mo and krill and won 10 games in a row. I have been having fun with them. They are like kelvin except you can't miss your ult, you only heal yourself and not your ally and your 2 lets you get away from certain death much easier. His 3 is actually useful too :D. Also having a character that I can have my top damage as torment pulse is just what I want haha.

Bruh fr tho Kelvin dmg just straight up in the gutters now.

I've stopped making mystic slow and reverb cause their stats for their price aren't great to say the least and focusing on damage over ms slow does wonders because eventually they'll just dash out of it anyway but damage been done. Also I'd get Kevlar as first tier 4 item or after escalating exposure if the game goes well cause everything about it feels just right for our pesky flying gremlin. Also alch fire is gud cause weapon slot.

the introduction and explanation for the items in the beginning is very good, i agree with of all them, however i believe "withering whip" could be a viable item in this build, but i have no ranked or much ivy experience to acclaim that.What's your opinion?

Hi! Can't find meele charge mod, can u plz share it?

Idk why but a few patches ago, I’ve ran into the issue where I can’t activate both ice beam and ice path at the same time. Well it depends on the order. If I ice path first, I can’t beam. If I beam first, then I can use ice path and have both abilities active. I’m confused why this is happening to me and am unsure if there’s a settings issue, a skill issue or maybe I’m just dealing with a bug?

The thing with melee. I feel like a melee build can work on literally any character that has any mobility or cc to get close. Melee items are so strong, and there's not a ton of them so you can still get weapon and spirit damage. And in average elo parries are not as common, no one expects the melee build from anyone but Abrams and you can definitely abuse that
