The packaging had to be special for this little bear...So I needle felted a flower and wrapped the petals around her before laying her in the golden box.

Hello Anna, I posted the short tutorial because I had been asked several times how I made whiskers, I hope it helped. I listen to what people want to see so ideas are always welcome. Thank you for taking the time to write.
What does it mean when she says one eighth and one sixteenth? I don’t get it. It looks so easy when someone else does it.
I worked out a system to measure the wool for the projects in my book. There is template to make one measure, that one measure is divided to make smaller measures. It is a bit like a recipe book for making wool dogs!

Your cat is Just gorgeous , thank you for the tip. My neighbor has horses do you know if they use the horse mame or the tail for whiskers? 🐎🐎🐎
Thank you Ruth. Some people do use the hair from a horse but it can be quite heavy on a fine work. Only use the tapered ends and it will look more natural. You will need to glue it in at the tip because it has a habit of bouncing out if you don’t 😊

Thank you for this, whiskers are the bane of my life, I was going to get horse hair but I have silk tops so will try that. 👍
They were the bane of mine too! I tried so many different ways to get them to look realistic. I discovered doing it this way you can make them as thick or thin as you require so it suits any animal 😊

These are amazing!!! I've been needle felting for a little while and I really love it. My first love was polymer clay, then my sister got me a needle felt " starter kit" for xmas one year thinking if I loved sculpting with poly clay, I'd love this..... I sure do! They are quite similar to one another I think. Thanks for sharing your creations.
