Hi Tony!!! I just found this by searching for Engleville CO. My great-great grandfather was listed in several Trinidad directories as an employee of CF&I Co. The description in the directory stated in 1905, it had population of 1100. Situated 2 1/2 miles southeast of Trinidad, it had public school, general store and grocery, hotel, livery stable several saloons, two churches, and banking...where in the heck IS everything?????? :( LOVE the video!!!!! <3
I've been told those old foundations by the cows I check out a couple times used to belong to the school.

I didn't know that the FCC flys quads too..that's amazing. Maybe the FAA and FCC should team up because the FAA really needs a friend in these turbulent Boeing times.

Great video, thanks Tony. I did Summerstock in Raton, probably 1982 and 1983. That racetrack was the highlight of my nights off there, just loved the culture and the quarterhorse runs.

@@garyjames9839, that opinion is incorrect. If I were to run into and damage a wind turbine, I would be civilly liable for any damages I would cause, if any, which is why I keep a safe distance from them and any moving parts, lol.

You can actually hover a drone instead of fly bys it gives better depth to what you are trying to shoe here
Randy, I have places to go and things to see during limited battery time, but if you see something you want to gander at for a while, just hit the pause button, or slow down the playback speed.

I remember when that was a busy place. A country rock band I was playing steel guitar for played a nice steak house at the Raton Ski Resort. We even lived in the building. It was like a mansion. A waitress that worked there and served our drinks was dating a jockey that raced there so she brought not only him out for steak when we played but the owner of the track and everyone else there. So the owner had a race dedicated to us, Our band was called Mud Creek Boogie. He even printed our name of the race in the little brochure of the races and the band got to stand in the winner circle as the race was dedictaed to our band. It was packed with people. This was somewhere around 1974 to 75.
Nice ive always wanted to see around stonewall and a birds eye view definitely gives perspective.
