Verry stressful job . The first plane (MD) was severe desbalanced from gusty left lateral wind 1 sec before normal touch , so the right rear gear was hardly compressed in assimetrical/one side contact , after that was a power rebound to the left rear gear, generate a potential successive erratic and repetitive disbalance around longitudinal axis. The plane losee some distance from the length landing runway because de rebound was longer and with high amplitude + as well like in the second case (767) after second contact both rear gear wasn't simultaneously on the runway (for MD neither as a perspective only ) so go around was imperative. The second plane (767) was in the similar disbalanced assimetrical contact situation but the first hard contact wasn't so severe that to the first plane , and in consequences the rebound was shorter (distance on the runway) and with lower amplitude. That's the difference and the reason because the second plane landing was possible even if was a verry hard one (landing in 3 times : right , left , both gear touching the soil). What is interesting in comparative study ? Apparently paradoxaly second plane landed even if had much harder second contact (left gear) - (rebound complete with maximum effect to the shock absorber) than the first plane , but the second contact (left gear) to the first plane was less harder (incomplete rebound - just touch the soil) because the pilot decided to go around instantly (immediately after) to the first contact (right gear) but the speed wasn't rapidly recovery enough (technical normal late from engine response) to avoid completely second contact (rebound) N.B. time rebound is the gap between the first contact (right gear) and second contact (left gear) and the maximum amplitude during the rebound is the highest position to the plane after first contact (right gear).
