Eeeek! What’s tripping you up on it?

Everyone’s experience is going to be slightly different due to the RNG elements of the game but in general if you follow the principles you’ll be fine. Sounds like you’re smashing it! In terms of staff I’m often very selective and do single skill trees only for the first 3 levels. Any time I hire someone who has multi skills I usually fire them once I can find the right staff member. You can still get by without doing that but if you want to max out your diagnosis and treatment % that’s the way to go. Morale can be boosted by ensuring everyone is trained, maybe put in a staff happiness in there as well. Having level 5 rooms really helps also, with a great staff room too. If you’re still struggling take a look at your staff break ratio. It may mean you need to hire some extra staff but more breaks = more happiness.

@@PowerPlays Thanks for quick response. So two things I've never done. Firstly, I've never fired any one. Too scared it would make the other staff unhappy!! I've also never looked at the staff break ratio. I guess it's time to do the 2nd, maybe still not the 1st!! :) IIRC, over half my staff have open training spots so I think that is my focus.

No problem! Yeah open training slots is going to be your big gain there. The others are just more fine margins. Firing people doesn’t upset any other staff but obviously it lowers the morale of the person you fired and they still class as an employee until they are off the map.

You’re 100% correct, fluid analysis, mega scanner etc are the most powerful diagnosis rooms and also can bring in a lot of money (although mega scanner does need a lot of maintenance). If you really want to get into the macros different rooms diagnosis different illness better so there is an optimum path for each hospital, but it’s overkill in my opinion. I’ve found you don’t actually need them to succeed and I focus on the diagnosis rooms which have dual purpose with treatment. Psyc, ward, dna lab, GP office and highly trained staff will enable you to get super high diagnosis rates.

You got here though!! Strap yourself in this is a long one too! So many patients to cure. But once you sort your set up out it runs itself thankfully

So it will tank my reputation to begin with however I find that cure rate, patient happiness, hospital level/room prestige out weigh it all. However, once you’ve made enough money to start with you can always bring it back down to help with reputation.

@@PowerPlays Makes sense. Just occurred to me as well: does a tanked reputation not end up being a good thing early, so you don't get bombarded with patients? I think the higher the rep, the more patients you get, leading to that onslaught that overwhelms?

Exxxxactly! And the biggest problem most people face is being overwhelmed by patients before they can grow their hospital to accommodate it.

So at first in order to control costs I’d say do 3 GP’s for 2 rooms, and try to maintain either 2 per room or 1.5. As i grow that tends to stay closer to 2. For 4 GP offices I’d probably have atleast 6 GP’s. I stick to this ratio more for training purposes than breaks but it helps for both.

So you get +10% for every level of the staff member and then 10% for the treatment training. So even if you didn’t train them in treatment you would still get 10% as they have increased a level.

@@PowerPlays Sorry, I should have clarified - you were doubling the upgrade bonuses per room (ie. the room that had 21 treatment cabinets, you were calling it 42%, and with the level 3 machine contributing 50%, you were calling it 100%)

Oooh! That’s just the way they have the algorithm on the game. No specific reason other than to make it easier to hit 100%. Imagine how big the rooms would have to be otherwise!

I really struggled with that bit too. Lots of items and lots of opportunity to use them (less movie nights or anything that takes up time outside of lessons). Make sure the items you have cover all different levels of the relationship and plenty of them. Also make sure the essential needs are sorted. Students are more likely to socialise when happy, fed and rested.

It’s a tough one. Wait till you don’t have any other requirements to meet, give everyone pay rises, ensure no empty training slots, increase break frequency and have good staff rooms. Training staff happiness helps too!

I agree! They fixed it in two point campus which was great. You get such an advantage from doing it it’s hard not to!!

Did you increase your hospital level suddenly? As that + reputation is what dictates patient inflow. One of those catch 22s you increase the amount of rooms to handle the patients but that in turn increases your level and brings more patients!!

@@PowerPlays Yeah, I think my level increased because I bought more rooms recently and opened up another section available trying to increase hospital value. At first everything tanked. My cure rate was 45 percent but now it back up.

Yeah if you can manage the storm for a bit it usually evens out when you get some more money build some more rooms hire some more staff and it’ll steady itself! You got this!!

Reputation can take a while to get up as it actually ends up going below 0% but, a high cure rate for a year and you’ll have no problem. Even a few marketing campaigns if you really get stuck!

@@PowerPlays I’ve restarted twice ! First off wave 9 got me - couldn’t cure enough and kept going bankrupt and getting shutdown. Restarted then thinking I can do this - this is fine. But I didn’t have enough janitors - so once people started being sick everywhere too many people rage quit or died from lack of hygiene etc that I got myself in a hole I couldn’t get out of ! Deffo the hardest one I’ve come across !!!

@SangheiliAnima so this might sound silly, but don’t be afraid to fail a wave a few times if it brings you in a lot of cash cause then you can build up a bank balance. Yes that is correct! I just don’t want to have specialised nurses for surgery as it restricts the amount of people that can work in there. I’d rather use a normal nurse that I train in treatment. Buuut you’re absolutely right

It’s something which I like about two point campus is that you can’t stack these bonuses as much as you can in hospital.

No problem at all!! Lots of people don’t realise there is a cap on treatment % so if you have a fully upgraded machine (50%) and a level 3 staff member (30%) with 2 levels in treatment (20%) you’ve already hit your cap. Doesn’t mean everyone will get cured due to illness difficulties but you’ll see your cure rate in the 90%s for sure!!

Oh no! It was one of the earlier videos i recorded so i was still getting the balance of the settings. It should improve in the series!!

Don’t worry it is a fresh run and you can do this too! When I start a level I sell everything, then build a big building and place as many staff rooms with lots of items in it down as I can. As the campus level grows I take out all the loans I can and keep doing it. Once I’ve used up all my money I then level up all my courses with the course points I’ve earned. Finally I sell everything so that I’ve got all the money back starting the level with basically all the loans taken out and my courses levelled up.

So when starting a new campus I usually sell all the buildings and create a giant building and place lots of rooms in it. This gets my campus level up a lot and earns me course points. I then take out all the loans and spend my course points in order to get higher level teachers. I then sell everything again so my campus level is back down to 1 and I start the level.

What you don’t see is when I get caught or mess up and I stop recording I often go full nuclear with all the weapons and have some fun!!

I swear there are some parts of the game designed to wind me up 😂 I’m really glad you’ve found them helpful! They were actually the first time I ever made videos so I’ve learnt a lot since then!

So early game it’s helpful to get the extra boost as it’s 20% vs. 10% however ultimately it’s easier just have treatment nurses across all rooms.

Hospital value can be such a kicker as things can spiral and go down hill… fast!! I’m sure you know but hospital value is made up of… Cash in bank - cash Profit - I recommend treatment prices +100% and diagnosis -80% (apart from dna lab) but this will only work if you’ve got barely any queues. Assets - just buy lots of stuff really

I try to avoid surgery rooms with a passion! But when I have to have them walk monitors, medicine cabinets, deep thing 1/2 if possible!

Gold stars are unlockable via kudosh and boost the attractiveness of the room therefore great to put around rooms as a cheap decoration that really boosts the rooms rating.

Yeah that’s a really frustrating point about two point campus! You can often be left waiting FOREVER for decent staff and you have no way of improving your odds of good staff really.
