I own this car and it’s not the quickest or the most practical considering the horsepower isn’t put in use because of the slow 4 speed transmission. But it is at 214k miles and still runs as strong as ever! It takes amazing road trips too. And yes it can hit really close to 160 without a governor at least (don’t ask how I found out). It’s a shame that they didn’t put a 6 speed in these because they would be hella quick if they did

Yeah the CVT surprisingly is faster. Once you get above 15 MPH and get over that initial CVT lag.

you started at gear 4. you would have had better results with the automatic mode. but if you can time your shifts right you can be better then automatic i just haven't figured the RPM sweet spots on this car yet. it seems to be different in every gear. but if you start at 1 and shift at about 5000 rpm this car is a rocket on launch.
