oh wow, but the thing with these budget lens companies is they will keep pumping out lens after lens that are quite similar, so maybe very soon there will be a lens that is almost the same with this one with another company.

I've got some black and white preset from Jamie Windsor, after applying the preset have to lower the clarity and dehaze and add a lot of grain to destroy the image a little to match the film photos

film simulations work on video mode but it is not a 100% the same, some of the setting is taken away in video, for me the biggest down side is I cannot bake in the grain in video, but overall it works well if you don't want to colour grade.

@@kenyudoit I really do not have a favorite because each 28mm lens is used for different reasons. 28mm f/2.8 Nikkor -- used primarily in 14/28/55mm lens kit for landscape and nature photography. I also use this lens as a standard by which all other 28mm lenses are judged. 28mm f/4 Nikkor Perspective Control -- used primarily for architectural photography 28mm f/3.5 Nikkor pre-AI - used only for close-up and macro photography. Has a BR-2 adapter on the front of lens so the lens can be attached in reverse position on a bellows. Has a BR-3 adapter on the rear of the lens to allow filters or slide copy unit to be attached to the reversed lens. 28mm f/3.5 Pentax Takumar -- used in 28/50/105mm Takumar kit for shooting live stage performances. The 8-element 50mm f/1.4 M42 screw-mount lens is my personal favorite 50mm. 28mm f/2 Zeiss Distagon -- used as a normal lens on APS-C digital cameras. Since my lens is a Nikon F-mount, I can use it on my Fuji S5 Pro digital SLR without an adapter. I must use a Nikon to Fuji X adapter to mount it on my Fuji X-Pro1 and X-Pro2 mirrorless digital bodies. 28mm f/2.8 Zeiss Biogon -- used in 21/28/90mm kit on Contax G1 rangefinder when shooting vacation/travel landscapes 28mm f/2.5 Vivitar - used in an expendable/low-cost 28/50/100mm lens kit on a Nikon EM, N70, or N2000 body when I need to shoot in a hostile environment where the equipment is likely to be lost, stolen, or damaged.

Yes the Fuji colour is amazing straight out of camera, but I also find myself rarely posting straight out of camera, so I am kind of shifting towards shoot raw and edit in post lately

Thank you for liking the video, I think the Fx30 is a great camera if you want to make short films and documentaries, I am happy with the photo capability with the Fx30 for the photography work I do, the lack of a mechanical shutter doesn't bother me that much. I think you can try using your current camera with the electronic shutter and no burst mode to test does that affect your workflow when you do portrait. If you are okay with that, then I think the Fx30 is a great choice, I have use mine in long recording sessions at work without worrying about it, but i can't say the same with the a6700. I hope this help.

it was DR400 standard profile with -4 noise reduction and -4 sharpness, didn't change other setting because I know I am grading it with Dehancer with the Rec709 profile afterwards, hope this helps

Yes i have a diffusion filter on my camera, I have tried a few and settled for the Kenko no.5, the effect is not as stand out and it is the most accessible here.

mine moves when it is mounted on the adapter, I've heard you shouldn't try to move the auto/manual tab when it is not mounted because it is related to the pin at the back of the lens. But for me, who is shooting it on a digital camera the auto function has no use anyways, as long as the aperture is still controllable then you will be okay.
