I'm buying this BC Strength Thruster Pad Bar: 1st specifically for Cable Preacher Curls and secondarily for Hip Thrusts. I was going to buy from Amazon a "PLAN4U" Hip Thrust Back Pad (Pad Only) for your Olympic Barbell Bar on your Squat Rack for $64.99 size: 20" x 10" x 3" But I still don't think it's wide enough. Watching your youtube video review of it seems to be a way better width of: 27" x 12" x 3.25" for $149.00 + shipping and tax = $187.92 is a bit steep for me even with the 10% Off, it's 2.9 times the price of the Amazon Hip Thrust Back Pad. So after 2 years of using it, How do you like it now?
@ProflexFitness I still use it for preacher curls and for hip thrusts. I think the price for it has increased due to inflation though. You can use it at any angle imaginable. Plus it's highly versatile because it's primarily designed for hip thrusts but I can see it used for other movements too. I'm honestly surprised no one else has made any videos using the pad for curls considering I made this video when abmat came out with the preacher pad. I've never used a preacher pad but from what I've seen this is much more versatile and takes up the space of a barbell with numerous other uses
Man, you got a lot of nice equipment at some exceptional prices. Sorry to hear about your divorce. It seems like society is constantly telling women they don’t need men and are better off without them, but usually they find out otherwise later on. Really hope it works out in your favorite in the long run.
