Sorry to say so, but IMHO this Soviet army summer hat is a modern reproduction: shape seems wrong, buttons should be green plastic, interior should be different and darker green in colour, strip should be dark olive green plastic, markings stamped inside are usually different. The wole hat seems lighter or less thick than authentic period one in my posesion. It seems to lack the foam insulation between the outer clear olive green cotton fabric and the green thinner inside material.
Thanks for the information. Was wondering how to make a similar “hat.”

If your question is: Why the rapid fire? The day I bought this rifle I could not get five rounds out with at least two jamming! This was the first test fire after getting it fixed by the gunshop. When I test a gun it has to work with very few malfunctions on both aimed, and from the hip rapid fire. Just my way of making sure it performs under stress. It only jammed once out of 64 rnds, not bad!
