challenging, interesting, valuable
Thank you for being here and for joining in. Hope all’s well, Carol Anne
very moving. Thank you
Bless you.
Well I'd never heard that saying before, and it really made me laugh. And a superb photo too by the way. How different it all looks from up there.
I think I first heard it about mosquitos! But, you know, you speak to your context! I think this photo was taken by a member of the church who, with others, has worked hard to get the cathedral tower open again for everyone to enjoy. Come and visit some time! Hope you’re having a wonderful day, Carol Anne
@@worshipdornochcathedral3972 I swithered about going up the tower...but between dodgy knees and no head for heights decided the view from the ground would suit me just fine! But I think the initiate and effort to make it something people could do is brilliant!
thank you ❤ needed this today God bless you 🙏
@@alexander-psalm23 Bless you, peace to you
Thank you!
Thank you, Mike. Blessings to you. Carol Anne
And a huge thank you to you for providing this oasis of calm and thought and humour every single day. It is more important than you could possibly imagine.
Bless you, Isla. Hoping this day is unfolding well for you and that you find what you need in it. Carol Anne
hahahaha laughing out loud here. what a perfect message.
@@islacolquhoun4406 Bless you! Jelly baby am I! Glad you’re finding laughter in these days, even for a moment, hopefully for much much longer xx
God definitely sent me this message today! Thanks
Bless you!
As always your thoughts make me smile...and think. But this one, with the conversation possibilities one might have with cultured butter is special! I hope the birthday lunch was delicious.
Bless you. I’ve always thought myself a bit melancholy, nice to know, then, you smile as you listen - and think of course, I certainly think in the making. Birthday lunch was very good. Saving up to go back for a birthday tea - not least to see if the butter is still cultured or gone a bit nondescript! 😂
hahahaha that really had me fooled for a moment! I was wondering what brilliant modern invention you were about to reveal. hahaha We have none of those here - just cows, and they are the wrong side of the fence. It must be wonderful to look out and see that number all gathered together. Oddly enough I was just reading about how countless women in India can't break free of the daily water carrying chore that holds them back from paid work, and that causes such health damage to necks and shoulders and backs. So yes, thanks indeed for the blessing of safe clean water whenever I want it. And to think that sometimes I'm even complaining about it not being hot enough. A pause and a moment for real gratitude is required.
😂 We have cows too funnily enough! One was in the garden looking in the window yesterday morning - much to the bewilderment and annoyance of the dog who let us know we had a visitor! Yes, there are many things to be grateful for, small things, important things. Bless you xxx
I so appreciate this channel! It’s my little breath of fresh air ^^ Bless.
That’s so kind, thank you. I’m sorry I didn’t manage a video today. Tiredness caught me. Tomorrow is a new day when hopefully we’ll all find that little breath of freshness. Peace, Carol Anne
❤

Thank you for joining in, Carol Anne
That is a most beautiful photograph. As inspirational as your words.
Hello Isla, this is a window in the cathedral and the trees in the wind behind it. As you say, beautiful and inspirational in that moment. Hoping you are well, Carol Anne
Hahahaha ... just what i needed at this moment. Off to put the kettle on and share those funny jokes.
Bless you. Hope you have found lots of reasons to smile. Carol Anne
Thank you.
Thank you for joining in.
flowering currant. Yes, a plant form my childhood too. Sadly it won't grow here in my windswept wet clay, but the memories of former gardens remain!
Hey, good to hear from you. Hope all’s well in your world. Flowering currant, thank you. It’s growing in my neighbour’s garden and whenever I walk the dog I am taken back to the garden I played in as a kid. Powerful. Carol Anne
How can I view the service at 11 please? Happy Easter!
Sorry I didn’t see this, Sheila. Hopefully you found it…

Thank you!
Thank you for taking part, Carol Anne
What a treasure to have in that wee box. And to keep by you.
Hi Isla, thank you. We made these at a recent Advent activity as a wee thing people could keep in their pocket or close by. Hope you’re well. I’m having some time off at home so no videos just now but I’ll be back at it again in a week or so. A very happy new year to you when it comes.
Oh your lovely calm voice. Are you videoing your Sunday service as I'll be there. Wishing you all a beautiful snowy time x
Hi Mandy, yes, all being well, we’re recording the morning and the watchnight services.
For me, if we don't keep the candle burning, how ever small the light, we might lose the way home. My second candle is lit as an act of faith that peace will come.
Hi Isla, yes, I understand, that’s my instinct too. But for now, we name the horror I guess, even as we pray and work for peace, and keep that flame of hope lit within us. Thank you for joining in, hope your day is going well, Carol Anne
Thank you ❤
Thank you for joining in, CAx

Hope all is well with you all today x
hahahaha brilliant story brilliant photo
The neighbours! In a country sort of a way! A friend from another church messaged a gaff he made which had me laughing out loud in a queue in the bakers. You gotta laugh!
yes
Thank you for being here, Isla, and for joining in, hope you’re well. CA
❤
Thank you soo much!
Thank you for listening and joining in.
Thank you xxx
Thank you for being part of it x
Done tamsak and done watching
Beautiful Words....Kindest Thank You....❇️🙏🏻❇️🌷
Beautiful!
Holding the silence - yes, a crucial part of our lives, and growth. What my wee friend refers to as me having some piece of quiet. When she's older she'll understand and look for it too! At the moment she tiptoes about with exaggerated Pink Panther steps inevitably knocking something over, but meaning well. I kept meaning to say how silent it was here in August - but time fled past so I'm saying it rather belatedly. Not the same sort of silence, a missing you silence.
Isla… bless you and your little one, she sounds sweet… young folk are growing up with such noise… perpetual static… how wonderful that you are teaching her of the need to dial it all down sometimes… Have a blessed day both of you, Carol Anne
Thank you Carol Anne. A beautiful, and thought provoking, service.
Hi Isla, I’ve missed seeing you on here! Thank you for joining in and for taking time to leave a message, it’s so appreciated. Hope your day is going well, Carol Anne.
Thank you x
Have a blessed day

Thank you Carol Anne xxx
Hi Hannah, thanks for listening in. Peace to you, CAx
The sound is not working at all
Hi Malcolm, it’s working here, perhaps there is a problem with your device.
❤
Hi Hannah, hope all is well with you today, Carol Anne
They really are beautiful aren't they. And tough as anything. Perfect for our very challenging climate.
It seems so, Isla! More shrub than flower maybe? Hopefully perfect for this garden novice also!
My mother always called the big variety of St Johns Wort, Hypericum Hidcote, the Rose of Sharon. I thought it was such a beautiful name when I was a child, and it was years before I discovered what the name referred to, although I discover from the all knowing Wilki that there are at least four if not more plants that are more likely candidates for the original plant referred to. Hmm. Well it will always be the Rose of Sharon to me! I have planted one here and so far it's doing brilliantly. Fingers crossed it gets through the winter. I am encouraged to think it might by the number of plants of it you have spotted in your local travels.
I thank you, this certainly cheered me up, the photograph is absolutely gorgeous and your words were most certainly enlightening, thank you 😁👍
Thank you, Duncan, enjoy the day ahead.
