Hi there! And welcome to my channel. As you can see, my channel doesn't have much content, but I do plan on adding more videos as time goes on. For now there is no underlying theme to this channel, but as time marches on, that may change. I have many audio video and media interests, and may upload some music collection videos and what not in the future. Thanks for stopping by!
My entry for Rick and Records 4x4=400 contest.
Rick from @rickandrecords asked us to show four bands with four members in honour of his upcoming 400 subscriber milestone. Here are the 4 I came up with.

A few days ago, Anthony @Gmblr812 showed off three artists we wouldn't think he liked. He asked us to do the same, so I did. It took me at least three tries, but I got it done.

Back again to show my spins for the whole week since my weekend was cut short music wise due to Mother's Day celebrations. Two spins were somewhat inspired by Pete Pardo of Sea of Tranquility.

I've been following Steve @All The World's A Stage as he continues to go through his entire music collection on a quest to determine what his all time top 10 are. He is currently visiting the letter "C". This inspired me to visit a couple albums, and a few others.

Over the weekend, my wife and I ventured out to Lincoln Park to do some cross border shopping. I found two records in the dollar bin, Grand Funk, and a two disc version of Chicago's "At Carnegie Hall." I also picked up two others back home.
My entry for Rick and Records "Double Down" contest.

Rick and Records asked us to show us five doubles of albums we own for this contest in any form, so I decided to jump in and show em off. Please hop over to Rick and Records channel, and show him some support. #rickandrecords .
Unboxing my latest vinyl purchase. Plus, RIP Steve Harwell, and I changed rooms.

Over the past few weeks, I've moved my listening room to the next one over, managed to pick up a mystery box of 100 CDS from 2nd and Charles in Utica, Michigan. (No, I didn't keep all 100) and purchased a vinyl copy of Stone Temple Pilots debut album "Core" from Amazon. News of Smash Mouth frontman Steve Harwell's death at the age of 56 also broke earlier this week. At best, I could say I was a...

On Saturday, my wife and I hopped across the water and drove down to the Taylor/Southgate neighborhood for some Father's Day shopping, and I popped into the record store for some new tunes, and here's what I got.
I'm back! Plus, a shout out to Aaron, JC, Chris, and VCLT explanation.

The other day, Aaron Mutha Alamare posted a VCLT X3 video, but wasn't sure who the Cds were from. So I took the time to post this video since there was something up with my comments not showing.
My first VCLT!! Thank you Aaron!!

A while back, Aaron Mutha Alamare showed us a box of music he picked up for 5 bucks. Some of it was not his style of music, so he mentioned sending some out to other people. I spoke up and he was cool with sending some cds my way, and some additional vinyl too!

My Cassette Tape Update For Sep. 22, 2009
I’m with you Bill. Rubber Soul is #1. And I also agree about We Are the Champions. I’m over it. Band I was in - the drummer was a die hard STP fan. He talked about them with every breath, but we never played any of their tunes for some reason. Great entry! Good luck! Thanks for participating!
Wow! You replied quick! I was waiting for my phone to notify me the video had loaded, lol. Your drummer sounds like a guy I'd love to get to know! Thank you for watching!
Hi mate, cool response video mate, glad you showed Bruno, he is rarely shown in the VC as are Wilson Pickett and Metallica. some cool artists shown also, great stuff mate, appreciate the effort - Lloyd
Thank you! I had fun jumping on this one!
Now this is a great response video Bill. I definitely like Neil Diamond when I’m in the mood for it. I used to have a couple of his 8 tracks as a kid and now have a decent amount of albums. JD is the same for me. I want to do this video but I don’t think there’s any big surprises I could show that I haven’t shown at one point or another already. Cheers!
OOPS! I meant to say I saw Honeymoon Suite play the Essex Fun Fest in Essex, Ontario on SATURDAY night, not Friday.
Hi Bill, cool selections for Anthony's thread. I love Floyd Cramer and can play a few of his tunes on the piano, "Last Date", and "On The Rebound." I also mentioned Floyd Cramer in my response video. Floyd's grandson Jason Coleman has a live stream from his living room every Sunday night. Lots of cool music. I'll put a link for it below if you are unfamiliar with him. I also like Barry Manilow as well. I'll definitely check out more of your videos! Best, Steve www.youtube.com/@JasonColemanMusic
Hello, Steve. I watched your video recently and the cover photo for Last Date is probably one of my favourite album covers from him. I appreciate the info about his grandson Jason. I will check him out! Thanks for watching!
@@old4mat Thank you so much for watching. I hope you like Jason Coleman's music. He is truly keeping his granddad's style of playing and his name alive! Hope all is well with you!
Thanks for hoping on Bill! Floyd Cramer played with Elvis on the Hayride! Awesomeness! Neil Diamond is always a good listen. Barry Manilow, is always played on my turntable! “Even Now,” is my favorite song. Lots of great music here, thanks a bunch! 👊🏻
Hello Anthony! Yes, Floyd and Elvis did collaborate a few times. If I'm correct, he was also the pianist on "Can't Help Falling In Love." I love that song! Nice to see you love Manilow, too. And Neil!
I am, oddly, not familiar with the Dio era of Sabbath, even after all of these years! I am probably the only person who doesn't own any Herb Alpert 🙂
Hey! Sorry for the late reply. I did not grow up on Dio era Sabbath myself, my only exposure to them were the Ozzy era albums my dad had, so I didn't get around to Dio until the 2000s, and am still not very familiar even today. As for Herb, he is not for everyone, I just like a select few myself. Thanks for watching!!
Love that CARS album - The song "Touch and Go" one of my fav. Enjoyed your video..
Agreed! Even though I didn't mention it, TaG is also great! Thanks for watching!
Hi Bill, Gave you a shoutout at the start of my last Friday Cheers video! Nice job with the All The World's A Stage style review. ✌
Hi Bill! New to your channel and just subscribed. First, thanks for jumping on this thread. I've been enjoying the video responses as we all grew up at different times, and thus a lot of variety in what the young vinyl community people were listening to in the early teens. I never realized Ernie was on the back of that Green Day album! I actually really like the Load album by Metallica. Of all the grunge bands Soundgarden are my favorite! Their earlier album "Louder Than Love" is incredible as well. Good picks Bill! Have a great week! ✌
Thank you for your input and support! Oddly enough, I never realized Ernie was brushed out of the back until it was pointed out by another RUclipsr. (Can't remember who.) I agree Louder Than Love is great!
First time viewer Bill, solid picks! I love Empire, one of my all time favorites. LOAD is underrated, great album.
Thank you! I appreciate your input!
Dude!!! Wow! I appreciate the shout and contest promotion. I still have the list of entrants and hopefully will be able to say “mission accomplished” one day soon.
ruclips.net/video/-t__nXkAgzw/видео.html Lloyd's original video.
Hi Bill, thanks for entering and you are the first person to show Neil Sedaka mate, great stuff!!!!! i have a couple of Black Crowes albums and one Collective Soul so two good choices there also. you really need to check out Joan and Janis (a decent compilation of each would work perfect IMO) - Lloyd
Hello Lloyd, I'm glad I was able to show off my Neil Sedaka like I promised. As I stated, I just found it this morning in a short stack on the other side of my spare bed. Joan and Janis aren't really played on Detroit radio, (I live south of there) so I spent my life not listening, but that will change. Thanks for watching, Lloyd! Take care! -- Bill.
Nice entry! You showed/had more from Lloyd's list than most. Last video I saw for this had none. Good luck!
Thank you.
Hi Bill, love the fact that the first video i watch includes the late great Wilson Pickett!, then you followed up with Rod Stewart, i dont own any Grand Funk and only a couple of Chicago compilations but anyone who shows Wilson Pickett (or any 1960s r+b/soul artist) gets my seal of approval so you got yourself a sub mate - Lloyd
Hello Lloyd, thank you for tuning in! Yes I enjoy Wilson Pickett, I have been a huge fan of "In the Midnight Hour" since childhood. I do not own any studio albums of his, but have heard good things. As for Grand Funk, I was ecstatic to see that copy of All the Girls in the World Beware!! sitting there when I walked in, I have loved "Some Kind of Wonderful" all my life. Thanks again for tuning in!
Awesome. Thanks for participating. I have you entered in it to win it. I am a huge fan of that Queensryche album and Operation Mindcrime. And you showed Styx so my wife gives you props; that's her band. Good luck.
@rickandrecords Thank you. I am a fan of those two Queensryche albums as well as Promised Land. I'm glad I made your wife's day with my Styx picks as well. Thank you.
Hi everyone! I know this video is a few years old already, but I would like to point out Brian renamed his channel "masseysmaineentertainment" Thank you all for your support!
Great pick ups 🤘
Thank you!
Always good to get stuff you want at a good price and especially for free! 90% of the records/CDs I get in stores I get by trades. Too many records and CDs in the house so something has gotta go to make room. All stores are a drive for me cuz I'm in the middle of nowhere.
I hear you about getting rid of stuff to make room for new. I do that all the time too. Yes I was happy the clerk did that for me. There are only two major music stores around here, and the rest are thrift. Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much Bill !! That was really cool of you! I really love the CDS you nailed it brother! I have problems with comments like that sometimes too! I didn’t receive them , thanks so much for making the video! Good to see you again! You rule my friend 🤘🤘
Thanks, Aaron. Happy spinning!
@@old4mat cool! I’ll give you a proper shoutout next week!🤘🤘
Ty bro glad you are back
You're welcome. And thank you too.
Welcome back, Bill!!! Aaron’s channel rules!!!! Thanks for the shout out by the way🤟🏻
You're welcome, Chris!
Hi Bill I’m glad you got the vclt! Sorry it took so long to get it to you! Happy spinning my friend!! 👍🤘🤘no need to reciprocate, you rock bro
A QUICK UPDATE: So far I have heard side one of the bash and pop album, and I'm digging it. Also I forgot to mention, I have an Albert King compilation CD called "King of the Blues Guitar" and finally, my wife and I bought the shelf behind me several months ago and HUNG it two months ago not long after the AYBL Maine contest video was shot.
Great collection! That White Album is a trip!
Thanks for ur entry. I have u down. And I subbed ur channel
Good choices and you made it under the time limit!
In two takes. Lol. My first attempt was about 35 seconds. Thanks for watching.
Great picks thanks for taking the time to enter
Thank you. I enjoyed doing this!
Great entries! Dynasty is my favorite Kiss album. Love the Tragically Hip. I’ve never seen Hell Freezes Over on vinyl. Very cool!
First album I ever bought in1979 @ target
Thank you Jeff. I scored HFO thru Amazon about 2 months ago I wanna say? Thanks for tuning in!
Congratulations on your new Fluance TT. Everyone on the VC says good things about it. RIP Tawny K. She was a beaut. The only Beatles album that I have is the White album. I've always appreciated their contribution to music but not enough to collect them. Greg
Great entry! I’m familiar with all but the 311 and the Marion 5. Kudos for going in numerical order! 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
Thank you, Jeff. You would know Maroon 5 for This Love and Moves Like Jagger. You might know 311's Down or All Mixed Up.
Thanks for jumping on this!!!! Love that Pink Floyd album. Cluster One rules. Doors rule too. Never listened to much 311. I remember liking some of their songs. STP is so good.
Thank you, Chris! Yeah, I'm not too big on 311 myself, I grabbed the comp because it covered all the bases for me. Yep, like I said, STP are one of my favourites. No. 4 is a great album for sure!
Hey just found your channel through Jeff W. Welcome to the VC! Great albums. I was blown away when Nirvana came out. Got the Nevermind on Tape then Bleach and the others. Still listen to Nirvana to this day
Cool entry! It’s not in your head I’ve heard Rock and Roll Ain’t noise pollution on the radio many times!! Good luck in the contest!!
Thank you, Aaron. I wasn't able to recall because it's one of those tracks that's so rarely played. Best of luck to you as well.
Bill, welcome to the VC. Can’t go wrong with Highway To Hell. I was never a huge Nirvana fan but I respect that album. I always liked Pearl Jam more. Those are college bands for me. I grew up on GnR. Killer! That Aerosmith album was my introduction to them. Take care.
Thank you.
This video was great! We have to get you some more subs and love from the VC! Nevermind was such an important album for me. Thanks for your entry! 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
And thank you for your support! It means a lot!
@KevinCarey im the same i have a tape deck so if come across a album i dont have i dont to pass it up just because its tape.
I liked your tapes. If you have any tapes you don't listen to anymore you can give them to me if you want.
@KevinCarey Yeah, I'm kinda like that too. I have records, tapes, 8-Tracks (Although they don't get played often), and a Playboy LaserDisc that I found at a thrift store about 2 years ago for 2 bucks! Still looking for a player to play it on...so far no luck. Thanks for watching! :)
@fab42 Thank you for the kind words. :)
Looks Great!!!
I think I will make a vid where I talk about them in the future, but I will definately have to borrow a mic from my brother to do it. Yeah, I'm happy to get "A Hard Day's Night." on CD because the originals used to cost so much, and now these remasters are cheaper so my Beatles CD's will start to bulk up! Thanks for watching!
Dude..you got some good stuff in there. Pull some of them out and talk about them a bit. Would love to see that. Also, love the Beatles you got for x-mas. I still need that. My beatles cd and tape collection really sucks right now. Have a good one.
Funny you should say that, a friend of mine gave me "Countdown to Extinction." after this video was made. :) Thanks for watching!
