I think most people really don't like to discuss their lack of responsibilities and food waste is one of the highest on the list. That scraping of food waste from plates is a serious problem, and it starts with proper guidance in parenting practices. Teaching children how to be responsible for the food they eat, is them teaching their children in the future. The reason we have this problem to begin with, is from our own lack of regard for where it comes from, how it reaches the table and the energy it took to be available to us. Resources is how the world is run, and food markets play the biggest role in logistics across the entire realm. The future is in our hands, coz those children only need our guidance to start living responsibly. Inner health is us being responsible for ourselves, our health and wellbeing and our ethical duty to care for what happens to the earth and the future of all who dwell upon her. Mother earth, because only the earth realm has sustained life before our arrival, which fits perfectly with mother earth in retrospect. This topic is long overdue in its address and it's outcome. Thanks for getting the ball rolling, im all for putting this into perspective. ✌️

Around nine minutes into this the discussion mentioned families and I was thinking about something around this discussion and I think it is quite important. As parents it's our responsibility to teach our children to be conscious of the food situation, in case of food shortages. I find it appalling to watch food being scraped from children's plates, because they copied their parents. Being honest about food waste is a step closer to solving the problem. Another wasteful action from all this is that these scraps don't get back to the landscape they were taken from, especially green wastes. But it's all going in the trash or the incinerator and buried in waste management systems, some of it stuck in plastic rubbish bags for decades. We are being taught to be consumer's and this has done nothing for us or the economy. The world is the system, and it's them that use the dictation, through print and the media to dangle carrots in our faces, it's absurd how the world's infrastructure has taken centre stage, and nature and natural means are now frowned upon. We have to be responsible for how we as parents teach our children how to be responsible for the food they eat, to respect the challenges involved in having it available, most couldn't care less, from what I have observed. The great grandies come to stay, they love what we prepare for them, up until they get to around two years, and then they start getting fussy, don't want that kind of thing, when I know it's mum being lazy and saying stuff like you don't have to eat it, or worse don't even cook a meal, but heat canned food. That my generation had ethics about food and how to share out minimum portions so that all got a hot adequate meal. Im sure my reply will ruffle some feathers and so it should, If we are truly being responsible for ourselves, our inner being, then health and wellbeing should be part of that focus. We get back what we put in, the body appreciates the attention, as age is an eventual outcome, so it's good to be in shape.

Very noted were the comments in the Summer 2024 issue of Field and Family where Shawn said people born in North Carolina welcome the newcomers moving here :::: this is not at all true. It's also controversial with the loss of farm land. Some countries have lost 64% of the farm land due to housing development. There is no way this percentage of loss can continue. If it does -- North Carolina will have zero farm land. Don't let money rule ,, tell the truth and face the truth. Save North Carolina..

I haven't used sugar for years now but it is shocking to see in how many foods it is added. Even in our healthfood store, sugar is added to meat sauces in the hot food section. Instead of using herbs. As somebody who had Candida, I had to be so watchful and mostly ate at home anyway. But NOBODY can talk me out to sweeten with Stevia, Xylitol and Inulin my few "comfort foods" like coffee, tea and an occasional gluten free cookie. One doesn't need to get "religious" with food unless one is very ill.

Huh. Nothing on sodium saccharin. Not the pink stuff that has dextrose and maltodextrin in it, but straight sodium saccharin. That's what I use in coffee, and it is fantastic. A bought a bottle years ago, and have only used about half of it so far. I use so little, it is lasting a long long time. Like having a big-huge box of sweetener in a little bottle. It is cheaper too. Win, win, win.

I know personally that when I cut sugar and carbs and went keto/carnivore it changed my life but I’m still not sure about forcing restrictions on a mass scale and then keeping it secret. There are Too many damn secrets in this country as is but on the other hand if we keep going at this rate with our health we may no longer be able to maintain the country. So like I said I’m conflicted.

I had been doing an 18 week strict Low Carbohydrate / No sugar Intermittent Fasting diet. I aimed to reverse Pre Diabetes, reverse Liver Enzymes and Cholesterol. I don't know if I have reversed the Pre Diabetes yet, but I have fully reversedmy Liver Enzymes and Cholesterol levels back to normal. As a bonus I also lost 50 pounds and I have not felt so good or had more stamina during this time for years. However I then started to eat Dried Fruit for a period of 2 weeks. I couldn't believe how ill it made me feel, nill energy and I really wasn't eating that much. Now I have to start over all over again and try to get through the sugar cravings which have come back. Also I stopped drinking diet coke after being addicted to it for years. They should ban it. It is so addictive like sugar. Best thing I've done. I worry about the damage that it has done to my body and teeth and the cancer scares. Wish I had stopped it years ago.
