35K Grocery store to house conversion part 1 (introduction)
Getting that seed to grow is key. Hopefully that seeds shade tolerant. If that is a low usage trail why didn’t you consider having a slight out-sloped for the entire steep section? This way no water collects in a ditch and no water bars are needed. Out-slope allows the water to move across the trail, never gaining enough volume to cause erosion.
The seed has been growing well. It is supposed to be shade tolerant, but I should come through and do some tree trimming to get some more sun on it. Early this spring I graded it the best I could the slope out to the side. Unfortunately that wasn't successful I think because I drove up it a few times when it was wet and the water started following my tracks. It's also very sandy so it washes easy and we have gotten almost 12" of rain here in the last month, so that is not helpingmy cause.
Great job works good and looks good
Thanks!
Very cool ❤❤❤
Take every other blade out and it will work best.
I would try that but unfortunately the tines are not removable individually. The tines are in blocks 8 or so.
who's the goof?
Just a drunk neighbor 🤪
Nice job, good idea. Great machines, but all the attachment prices are outrageous. Video quality was pretty poor compared to your other videos- not sure if camera or RUclips issue?
Thanks, I about fell over when I looked up the price of a new ventrac rake. As for the quality sometimes if I click publish to early the video doesn't have time to process up the HD. I'm thinking maybe that's what happened so it should improve shortly.
@@diygrind That must have been it, quality better now. 👍
@@gregorybarclay9822 Good to hear. Thanks for the feedback.
what a view !
I'm technically a neighbor & fully approve of you making the town better. People would rather see a town die, then see it change in anyway. Keep it up!
Yeah I guess that's the way it works in a small town with mainly older folk.
Good work brother take more video I like your video ❤❤
Thanks I've got more videos coming soon!
man i'm still scarred by that fat clip :( haha
I always got a laugh out of that show Dr.now can be a real savage.
Great video and content! Love grading..…..
Thanks!
作業場を作っているんでしょうか、かなり見晴らしの良いとこみたいですが怪我のないように、素晴らしい。
Cool, well done!
Thanks!
Always enjoy your effort and hard work, and your projects .
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the video.
I have a great plan that will help your videos and website rank
You are working too close to the edge of the cliff. That is how accident happen .you have to pay attention to your safety first before anything else..job well done and good luck.
Thanks for the reminder. Admittedly I have probably become a little too comfortable on slopes with the skidsteer.
your solutions are terrific; I would be great to see the problems you solved. That said: well done!
Thanks for the feedback! I'm still working on figuring out what video structure works best.
Hey guy, I like the content. I definitely like that your content is like Andrew Camarata. Maybe take some more camera shots from different views. Keep the dirt work videos up!
Great. Thank you for the feedback.
BUILD THAT WALL!
Take this as a compliment......a young new to RUclips Andrew canarata style page. Subbed
Thanks Andrew is definitely a legend in my book.
Exactly what I thought too
what happened?
This is an old quarry. The trees were cleared to make a road to it and to clean up the rock face. It's still not done it will get landscaped as well.
i like before
It's not done yet it will look much better once completed.
Bro safety first...demo saw curring 4×4 angel iron and not wearing safety glasses...remember safety comes first ...keep up the good work and good luck.
Thanks. I should be better about eye protection. I am good about always using ear protection at least.
@@diygrind I was the same way, after a while it sucks going to the ER to get stuff out of your eye so now I just put them on! Also there was one where my eyelid was never quite right again sleeping, quite annoying, its ok during the day. Constant reminder!
@@wes3428 it's definitely easy to make a bad habit out of it
North of Alma?
No we are south of La Crosse.
@@diygrind beautiful property youve got there. I knew it had to be some what local! Winona, here.
Thanks!
What an excellent piece of property you got there.
Thank you!
I’m envious. Great hobby! I’m pumped about scaling it up next year.
You and me both!
You should try it with semen instead of sap next time.
Wrong time of the year for that.
destroying the nature...
I'm replanting native wildflowers around this area. Before I cleared it was at least half invasive buckthorn.
@@diygrind sounds much better :)
big flat
not to bad
i totally have your pruners lol
When we were kids my dad made maple syrup with us helping. He is long gone but I remember it to this day.
I also hope to involve my kids more with this and build those memories.
Nice that going to be good Syrup
We just finished our first batch. It turned out great. Check out the video we made of turning the sap into syrup if you haven't already.
Taps that screw in tighter seal !
Thanks. I did come back later and pound them in a touch more which has seemed to help.
Moving is the worst! And you gotta do what you gotta do when you need to work; hopefully you get a chance to setup the new shop how you want it soon.
yeah I was thinking I'd get everything set up and functional in a few months not a couple years, but that's the way it goes sometimes.
Looking forward to seeing your new shop !!!!! Great tour
Thanks. I finally posted my video of the shop move. Unfortunately i still do not have the new shop put together like I want it to be yet.
Great machines you got there. Would love to learn more about your business.
I do plan to do more videos as I set up my new shop
Get the slider! It's a total game changer. It's a pain in the butt to have to adjust it every time you move it but it's worth it.
be cool to see the tools in use maybe? An hour is a long time for straight soliloquy ; )
