How to develop a reading habit?
How to find the right books that you will read?
What if don't like the popular books people talk a lot about?
If these questions have crossed your mind at any point in your life, this is the video for you.
I started reading very late in life. It was a few years after I went to college that I truly started enjoying reading and figured out what kind of books I really liked.
And guess what?
It changed my life.
I developed a faster reading speed, learned so much with every new book and made a lot of friends who also enjoyed reading similar books.
So, finally, I decided to make a video on it.

How to make friends after moving to a new city? Here's my story
Просмотров 46310 месяцев назад
Hello, You might know that I moved to Bangalore mid-last year. It has been an incredible journey but has had its ups and downs. I dealt with loneliness a lot when I moved here because all my family and friends were away. I read up a lot, struggled a bit, and finally found solutions on how to make it better for myself. It is still in progress for me but I hope it helps you too ❤️ Timestamps: 0:5...
The Art of Disappointing Your Parents: A Path to Personal Growth
Просмотров 1,2 тыс.10 месяцев назад
Start disappointing your parents at an early age. Damn. Why would I say something so controversial yet so brave? Indian society really rewards obedience in the younger generations and more often than not, it does more bad for us than good. A lot of us grow up wanting to be perfect and obedient children because we are too afraid to disappoint our parents. But that leads to us living a life that ...

Hello lovelies ❤️ Here's a small vlog I made on a Friday - just to document a cute day for me 🫶🏼 We went for a movie on National Cinema Day - got recliner tickets for 200 rupees! We also went bowling and went to the arcade as well. Ended the day with Brik Oven Pizza and Milano Gelato 💃🏽 See you 👋🏽

Hi everyone 👋🏽 I read somewhere that it's really beautiful that our generation gets to document our life and memories for years to come and it is truly remarkable that even when I am 60, I would have these vlogs to come back to and watch and reminisce. I made this vlog because I had a pretty difficult and tiring day, personally and I wanted to take my mind off of it, I think this helped. I hope...

Hi everyone 👋🏽 This is my first vlog ever. I have always loved watching vlogs and I hope I can create something that people love watching as well. This is a small workday in my life. We had a few meetings, one shoot and a bunch of other random things all over the place. Working at a startup is a lot more different and challenging than a traditional company - you have a lot more freedom but also...
The truth behind why I left my law firm job in India
Просмотров 26 тыс.11 месяцев назад
Hi, I am Preksha 👋🏽 I graduated from NLU Delhi in 2022 and worked with a corporate law firm here in Bangalore for a few months after that. That is, until I quit. In this video I share that story with the world. Before you watch the video or even as you watch it, it is important for you to know that I didn't make this video to share gossip or bad mouth the people and organization I really respec...

As a person who has worked in 3 law firms for nearly 4 years i agree with each and every point. It was easier for me to work in law firm when i was single once i am married it was impossible. It is indeed very toxic. However if you have a very good person to train you as a fresher you will gain experience and learn a lot. Your skills will improve further if you change jobs. This is one of the reasons most companies prefer people who have worked in law firm. I have also seen fresh grads who have joined law firm after they joined as in house counsel since there was no learning in the job.

This thought is always building up in my mind as a litigation firm, where I am fed up with work culture of law firm. However mine is not that bad but to think in terms of growth what type of work culture is offered in tier 1 firms is scary and makes me shift career paths all together.

I am a NLU Visakhapatnam 2021 graduate. I have been working for Big 4 consulting firm for the last 3 years and I can completely relate to you. Long working hours, lack of work life balance and no room for innovation and a new approach to your current work. Money is good but it can motivate you to some extent only

You experienced the firm culture and quit. That's great at least you quit after experiencing it. But the thing you quit the same law firm job...is a distant star for many who come from small towns and are first generation in the field of law. They may never even get a chance to be part of it for their whole life. It's just perception..which drives all of us.😊

Bullshit, It's just women can't handle the work pressure in certain fields, that's why those fields hire men as majority of their workforce. You all just can't digest the fact that "I am working 18 hours a day why" reason behind that is you always have options with you. Get married, earn the half of what your husband is making so that you have plenty for you and for the family. Just stating facts, women crave for equality and when you are asked to pay for it you all make excuses, it's bitter but it's truth.

Aside from the fact that one is not an employee - what you describe in terms of leaves, competition, working weekends is in fact of life in every single field including in fact startups of any kind. Some startups can be toxic in every sense of the term just as an established listed company can be just as toxic. Well rounded/ balanced life is a fallacy unless u work for yourself and your business / profession has tajen off. And u didnt hit on the politics in a law firm - why not?
