I first heard this track on 2000-01 off of a compilation CD and shortly after purchased Blackwater Park @ Lou’s Records in Encinitas, CA. Lo and behold, the album knocked my socks literally the fuck OFF. Been a fan ever since and this rendition live, brought a tear to my eye. Excellence!

You could drown in one of those ponds. Looks more realistic than those ultra-clean images from synthetic grass (or ix of), in the Sun!. On the other hand, you need conditions to be playable. Imagine the same, in frozing conditions...! With the ground frozen... You have at least to respect the effort, if nothing else. Interesting thing, always have heard of monster parties after the match, everyone coming toghether. Every other collective sport could learn from Rugby!
