There voices aren't similar but they are both unbelievably distinct ... I'm thinking of Levon Helm from The Band. There's another voice you won't forget. NOW, what we must ask ourselves ... what country western classic should Henning sing?
I've heard a dozens version of Leonard Cohen's songs sung better, at least technically, by other artist. This does not demean Cohen. You do not have to be the best vocalist to be a great artist. In the case of Cohen I actually do enjoy his kind of broken style even more. But I do agree that here, I like this version more than the original but that doesn't make Springsteen any less of an idol.
