Excellent ! Nobody plays Tveitt like Gimse. And this is such a wonderful piece ! I wonder about the edition Gimse has been using here. From 1:46 onwards, the music is markedly different from what I have in my official score from Norsk Musikforlag. I have to admit I find that 'official' version more interesting than the variant being played here.

One of the best performances of this song on RUclips. The passionate and deep emotion that Brahms put into this piece is beautifully expressed. It was refreshing to hear each player produce their sounds with confidence. This is a valuable performance that lets us fully enjoy the joy of chamber music. The recording is also excellent. The sound of each instrument is clearly captured. The sound of the cello is especially vivid. The clear recording is even more miraculous in a church environment with strong reverberations. I hope this group will upload more videos. And if there is a Japan tour, I will definitely go to hear them play.
