No one has the right to physically attack the pilot. Pilot also need instructions to take off or disembarking the aircraft. By physically attacking the pilot also does not make sense as it cause more delay

Operational staff are ALWAYS subject to orders from the command centre. In this case a pilot. The airline has an obligation to its paying customers and that obligation remained unfulfilled. Putting hands on staff of any rank is a punishable offence by law. Passengers should've been disembarked and a fresh aircraft should've been commissioned for their flight.

A pilot was very rude to me once. I complained to the airlines but nothing happened. Why would an airline punish their own guys? Duh! 😅

My personal experience is that the pilots are very high handed and rude. They think no one can touch them so they talk and behave the way they like. Definitely the pilot must have said something or else which civilian can dare to touch the pilot just like that??

What's the need to hit! The pilot may be an asshole for you, but why hit? Everyone gets their blood boiling under some circumstances, but... hitting him to make a point is a poor way to communicate your point across! Some passengers behave as if purchasing a plane ticket entitles them to own the flight and the cabin crew. Some of the folks i have seen behave as if these cabin crew are at their disposal!
