@@bensnyder2625 Just an opinion. I'm a Hindu and what I've experienced so far when you take one step towards God, he'll take 10 steps towards you. It's one's ego that refuses to believe in anything like that and prefers skepticism. But it's just a matter of time until one realises the same. If not today, someday they'll be down to take that initial step, and beautiful things will happen. But again, just an opinion, cheers.

FYI if it sounds like we don't know how to play our instruments, it's true, we had both just started and wanted to have some fun, this was probably the best song out of the 5 we recorded.

I can name a dozen local guitarists that are better technically than Santana, but they can't write better songs and they aren't better performers. RUclips is full of such folks, just type in Shredding and prepare for unsung greatness. Also, Santana specifically got popular in the 60s and 70s with a totally different crowd and has used that popularity to get cameos by many other famous artists and has remained popular that way.
