Welcome to my channel.
My name is Helle,

Love everything about Christmas, especially working on my Christmas village

It is built in styrofoam size 210x120 cm
Makes pretty much everything myself, such as fences, all bridges, station building, dam doors, skating pavilion, canal walls, cobblestones, mostly in flamingo but also other materials such as cardboard, wooden sticks, the decoration etc.
The water is made of epoxy resin, on top of the finished result, water effect from woodland scenics has been applied.
The waterfall is made of the water effect.
Some mountains are painted and decorated with bark and forest moss and others with "mountain rockpaper" and bark And there is good use of snow spray, artificial snow and white
All my houses are connected to power, I use some battery adapter for almost everything.

Removing my 2023 Christmas Village
Revoving my 2023 chrismas village, It took me 4 days and everything Is now packed in plastic boxes.
I have now got my cozy place back..undtil it all starts again in mid-October.
Right now I amworking on learninghow to make houses and figures...I got a 3d printer..we will have to see how it turns out.....

Made a fireplace out of styrofoam, used my styrofoam cutter, painted it with acrylic paint, glued it together with wood glue.... I have taken out my Christmas village from the stash. A village I started when my 4 children were small (now 27-34 years old) it's a nice reunion joy... It hasn't been up for about 12 years... Wow! So incredibly detailed, this must have taken a long time to put together? It's so colourful and makes a change on here to see some different figures, buildings and lighting as a lot of the creations are from the USA. After a while of watching you start to see a lot of the same people, animals, and vehicles etc! I love the creativity here, I wish I could do something like this but here in the UK especially my area crafting stores are not plentiful and neither are model shops. Plus, I don't have the money to afford such a wondrous beauty as you have. I did create a little Christmas scene quite a few years back around 2010, but nothing as grand as this. Who knows, maybe one day if I ever get rich and hopefully before I'm too old to see it, '58' now so maybe before I'm '90!' 😮💨🤔🤫 “Happy New Year…!” PS: It's going to be such a shame to have to put all this beauty away again till the following year. 😞

I think I'll spend about 4 months on my Christmas village divided between before and after Christmas...I'm a little behind this year with the take down but yes it's a big job I'm in it...when I take it down next week I plan I saw little by little how I want this to be in 2024. 😊 then get started with misc. diy things...In March I finish the preparations. starts again in October....😊 year after year.... personally, I buy a little at a time and make a lot myself... How did you make the fence on the upper level?
fence is made from branches from nature...glued together with glue gun added snow on top (especially where you could see the glue.) hope that makes sense or feel free to ask again....have a nice weekend ☃️

When a Christmas village stands out for its originality it must be applauded not once but dozens of times. If you then add all the effort put into creating so many perfect elements from nothing, then you have to stand up and bow as a sign of the highest respect. Stunning and perfect. Wow...truely incredible display. Your work is so detailed and realistic. I don't think I've ever seen whatever you use for your snow cover look so natural! I have over 100 dept 56 snow village houses but I've never had the room to set them up at the holidays except on table tops, under the tree, etc. Your display is one of the best I've ever seen. WOW 1000 thanks for your incredibly beautiful compliments... 💝🥰 My snow is a mixture of 3 different ones, on the streets and fences, etc. (the small blobs) I made myself (decopage glue+baking soda+artificial snow). artificial snow has been sprinkled on it and snow spray has been used in a can.... Wow what a collection of dept. 56 I love those houses, but we can't buy them here in Denmark... Once again, a big THANK YOU for your kind words...they really warm...
