Tom Hamilton gives his take on a year filled to the brim with elections. Was it a bad year for those holding on to power? Both Rishi Sunak and Joe Biden failed to retain their posts. Even in India, where Narendra Modi won a third term, it was a more narrow victory.

Globally, who is winning in the war of influence? Is America (and the West's) brand of politics sticking anymore? The European Security Organization has RECOGNIZED the Georgian election as fair. YOU are not interested in democracy, but Georgia ending up in the third front against Ukraine, cynicism of the worst kind. Like all neo Conservatives, you have to be 100 percent in favor. By the way, my friend in friend in Latakia tells me that anti-aircraft depots are being looted like in Libya, in total with reserves and Iranian troops 400,000 soldiers. This is nightmare, we don't need to influence you AT ALL. You make the same mistake, the British elite and liberal middle class don't have much IQ, you have complexes you are relevant, this is the underlying psychology. You will have your Sudez moment, then disappear to become a state in importance like Thailand or Bahrain. Cultural still has the right meaning, not the crap created in the last 10 years. US will look for scapegoats after this, then what was taboo will disappear. Your role in Ukraine to support National Socialists, you hero to launder money for the Democrats' election campaign in 2022, Boris Johnson's role during the Istanbul negotiations. The Steel dossier, the false allegations against us regarding interference in the 2016 election, as established by the Congressional Mueller investigation and Special Counsel John Durham, MI6 participated in spying on Trump in the White House. Durham was federal court Hillary Clinton's lawyer admitted under oath they lied about Russia's involvement. Now you are firing long-range missiles into Russia against what Trump loudly does not want you to do, the whole world is horrified. What has been achieved after Brexit two trade agreements, Australia and Japan, they are your allies. You are not liked outside the Baltic states, Poland, Scandinavia, your defense minister was rated as NATO head. Trump is not giving you a free trade agreement. What are you going to do then quote Churchill along with Azov, Kraken? ALL of this is YOURSELF,

    You are still living in the Cold War, Russia is not interested in the UK or Eastern Europe, you are still living in the Cold War when the UK was nothing to laugh at. India, Indonesia, Colombia, Nigeria, 50 countries with better REAL growth, i.e. the one calculated by the World Bank according to purchasing power and natural resources. You will defeat yourselves in misery, your government commits suicide. The truth is that Russia can do without you / Germany not Europe, we are still the second largest gas exporter. You can't even manage to produce 40 Challenger 2 tanks, your insurances on the oil tanks are failing because of the Sanctions and the Gulf countries are slowly withdrawing their capital from your banks and the City of London, you are illegally looting other countries' currency reserves with sanctions. You always have this, colonialism.

      That's exactly what the US and UK are for, you have a government with the support of 17 percent of those entitled to vote and the US Congress 16 approval ratings, you must lecture others about democracy. Russia, influence by having something to offer, let's say this, our brand is bad in Eastern Europe, yours is good there. While your brand is worth toilet paper in the non-western world, it was a stroke of genius to fully support Israel's bombings in Libadon, bingo 2 billion Muslims thumbs up. Repeats Russia does NOTHING, it is YOUR Citizens who pay the electricity bills. STOP buying our gas, STOP, we can sell someone else. It is the impact, because Volkswagen is moving, Germany will be as miserable as Liverpool, other cities neo liberalism destroyed. Because Germany will be like the industrialized like you. WHAT do we need to influence? You are not relevant, India is very relevant, the Prime Minister of India who once upon a time had his first state visit to your country. Does Russia, with an economy the size of Italy, defend 600,000 men in Ukraine? Really?

    In order for International Law to be anything more than moral posturing and idealism it needs to have the teeth to bite any nation that violates its tenets, (the force to bring to justice those who flout it and the strength and personnel to enforce its requirements). In order for this so to be true sovereign nations must surrender some, if not all, of their own authority. If but one nation defies said Law and shows by its actions that the Law cannot be enforced, then it becomes just aspirational scribbles that arguably are worse than having none at all. The existence of that which calls itself International Law, but clearly has no teeth to stop genocide, for example, holds out false hope to the oppressed. That is plainly cruel. Better no hope than false hope. The objective view, of course, is that International Law is the excuse under which the Big Players bully, kill, oppress, regime change, plunder and steal, all the while not being held accountable themselves. "It sounds good for the folks back home." America and Israel will not obey anyone. They don't even obey their own laws.

    The US is attempting to rule the world, and destroys countries that disagree with Washington. This American has no idea how treacherous that the US is and how criminally it acts internationally. When the whole world condemned Israel for committing genocide, the US vetoed any international action against them. Why does this woman not question the US need for 800 overseas military bases, because noone is threatening them, it is the US that threatens the world. Until Russia said to the US that, no, you cannot keep breaking your promises and move missiles to our border or we will stop you. The US is mafia and without Russia the whole world would be a US controlled prison camp.

    The agricultural relief is £1m, the £3m won't be what most can claim. Few actual farms producing food will under £1m when you add in the assets need to run a farm sheds, machinery, livestock etc. Most undef £1m will be your hobby farms or people that have brought a nice house with some pony fields, but aren't really help to produce food. When most people inherited assets from family it is in addition to their own assets and doesn't affect their income. A farmer has usually been working on the farm for many years before they inherit it from the parent, the farm represents their wealth and hard work alongside the parents. They are unlikely to have their own wealth outside if the farm and paying inheritance tax will affectively decrease their income.

    If the Brits excessively don't like the President, then all the better. As Trump has said numerous times, he hopes to eliminate our income tax. The revenue lost through that action will be more than made up through his other proposed actions. He will resume exploration and fracking of our extensive oil and gas resources AND his imposition of tariffs will generate some more money for the coffers. Most of us Americans are greatly looking forward to those policies being implemented.

      @@TheLostplanet99 Hardly. The elimination of the income tax would put more money - generate more money for everyone's pocket. Folks wouldn't have to delay selling something lest they inch themselves into a higher tax bracket. Lower prices caused by the lower prices in transporting consumer goods would give us Americans more money in our wallets. Trump is looking to put a cap of 10% on interest that banks can charge Americans on credit card purchases. All Americans would greatly benefit from these actions. The sooner they're put into effect, the better.

    • @TheLostplanet99
      @TheLostplanet99 Месяц назад

      @forevertoons9022 Yeah look up the US Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act...the Act is one of the worst in US history, without exaggeration. It led to a 67% reduction in American exports and imports. It prompted retaliatory tariffs from other countries. It was widely opposed by economists, business executives, and the public. Tariffs aren't a game, and as a Brit I'm happy to simply trade with China or Europe instead of the smallest of our exports, 15% to US. Gladly I'd tax the Americans for that. America First policy taken to the extreme will leave you just that, only America. Weakened, isolated and unreliable.

      JD Vance, Trump's vice-president, has since said that he was wrong. Evidently, President Trump took him at his word - don't you think? Talking about 'Notzee', have you taken a look at your own country? You no longer have, among other things, freedom of speech! Britain is no longer a free country - a 'democracy', as you like to term it. As a test, write a comment that you hate all moose-lims and that they must be shipped out of Britain. Go out into a public place and shout that. Of course, you're very aware that in doing so, you will end up in prison - not even jail - but prison due to the excessively lengthy sentence. In Trump's America, doing so is still perfectly fine as, after all, that's free speech. Do you even remember those days - when you had free speech?
