My custom badger electrician setup and review @BadgerToolBelts
Dawg love the Doom tattoos
Thanks man
What size belt ??
@@aTTGallardo medium belt for me and it fits perfect, there’s room to adjust it now that it’s winter and you gotta bulk up. If it helps I’m 5’10” and 165 pounds
@ perfect. Sounds like I made a good choice. I’m 5’10” 185 but all my weight is in my upper body. I was reading guys with builds similar to ours were let down a little cause the medium belt wasn’t to snug with just a layer on in the summer but sounds like medium might be good for me
I need to make a video of my badger bags. I had my set made before they started making the electrician pouch. I love them.
You should do that for sure, how old are yours and are they holding up good ?
@ they are 2.5years old. I don’t use them daily, but they still held up. All the pouches stay open hold their shape. Tools slide in and out great.
@@Brandonreisinger sick man, what colour way did you get them in?
@ I went with black bags and green accents
@ sick man. What did you do at that time to customize it as far as tool slots and all that?
Ordering one with the Mexican and USA flag, what type of work boots are those?
@@rayortiz3105 that’s sick! They are blundstone work boots. They are good boots but I just recently bought thorogoods and those are amazing
These look great. Were you able to customize them through their site, or did you call/email to get this setup?
@@scottdorey8480 thanks! I traded some emails back and forth to customize. It was super easy because I knew exactly what I wanted and they made it happen. Highly recommended!
@@Novascotianelectrician could you please elaborate a bit more on the specifics? What did you mean by a trim style for the electrician bag? Is this just a length and version of their electrician bag with the extra pocket on top? I'm speaking with them right now and want to get it right.
@@scottdorey8480 yeah the electrician tool side on the website comes in the form of the trimmer which means it doesn’t have the tape measure pocket on top and it doesn’t have the hammer sleeve. So if you tell them you want both those they’ll know what you mean, basically it’s just getting the carpenter style pouch but with the guts of the electrician pouch if that makes sense.
This is the exact setup I’m trying to get thanks for the video it was a lot of help torpedo level sleeve is clutch I really hope the make this more of a stander option going forward
@@Ball4Life90 you’ll be super happy with it. Yeah I agree, I was just sick of having torpedos pull out screws and staples stuck to it , so I thought that would be the best option for it and it’s nice and tucked away you don’t even know it’s there until You need it
How did you get them to do custom work on your bags?
@@RonKing-t9d I emailed the address off the website for custom bags. And we traded a few emails back and forth until we were on the same page , they sent the invoice and I paid. It took about 2 months to get it which was good considering I live in Nova Scotia
@@Novascotianelectrician I'm thinking about buying the exact same set up against diamondblack but yours looks way more comfortable and efficient, how much was the total cost before shipping??
@@Lechugadelmalodemisa mine was the exact same cost as a carpenters side by side plus 20 bucks for the torpedo sleeve
@@Novascotianelectrician Cool! I would expect more added cost for the belt and hammer sleeve but it sounds amazing. Can't wait to order mines!!
@@Lechugadelmalodemisa yeah it was good because essentially it’s a carpenter side by side with the electrician pouch guts you know what I mean , that and the front pocket is slightly different. You’ll enjoy it thoroughly!
I’m debating this or the diamond back vest or belt
I’m sure diamond back is nice for sure, but I know I’ll never go back to another brand now after getting a badger. It’s really that good
Thank you for taking the time to post this! We appreciate it. And I hope the bags sserve you well for years and years. -Joel
Absolutely, they just might be my favourite possession I own so to say I’m thrilled is an understatement. They turn lots of heads on Job sites that’s for sure!
Im ordering now myself. Love the setup
Nice! It’s absolutely worth it
@@Novascotianelectricianwhat size belt you wearing? The badger belt.
Badgers are awesome super comfortable and they feel very nice. Nice setup.
Thanks for the video. I know Joel personally and have been wanting to ask him about an electrician pouch. Hard to find good videos about electrician pouches and Badger Belts. Good luck with it!
Great review! That torpedo sleeve is clutch.
Thanks man, such a nice and simple add on and makes the world of a difference.
How much were the add ons?
@@KG-sk8qc not much at all I think it was 20 bucks! Because it’s basically the carpenters side by side set up so they priced it as that and the 20 for the torpedo sleeve.
Nice! Thank you!
