I think it just takes practicing and it becomes muscle memory. I use my d-pad up/down to target through the party list. L1 + d-pad left/right to target other alliances.

Thanks! Orbs took me so long to get it working the first time and even then it seems very inconsistent. I could be doing the same thing each time and sometime the orbs will explode too fast or it doesn't seem to applied the magic/phys vuln in the correct order leading to lethal damage. I assume it is because of server tick. Congrats on clearing with no echo! That is amazing persistent! I think clearing close to enrage is fun and is a great adrenaline rush. I would had like to do it without echo but the dps was pretty tight even with it.

Yea getting the dps without echo is incredibly tight even at ilvl 716, I had to reset if I didn't crit enough during my burst windows and I needed good crit rng along with an optimized rotation, that's why it took 5 hours to get Phase 2 with 0% echo, should be a lot easier with better gear but will definitely still need some crit luck

Go to Duty Finder Settings turn on Unrestricted Party. Then queue up to any duty.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. You are correct with the boots and headgear. I am just choosing whichever gear is available to me that will give me highest crit stats and allows me to meld direct hit as much as possible without sacrificing crit. The next stat is determination. Prioritising these stats helps me do higher damage to beat enrage on some encounters.

For now I think RDM with its self healing is a better choice. Reason is after delta attack we need to heal to full hp to get rid of the petrification debuff and then the first giant fists and stack marker does a lot of damage too. (I do think there is a possibility with SMN but I think it may require crit heals after delta attack and killing before giant fist + stack marker)

Thanks! Passing the adds is the main problem here since there is only like 4 or 5 seconds window before they get tether buff with each other after they spawn. I farm 25% echo here so I have a better chance to down the adds. DPS with high upfront damage bursts are the better for now but I am sure with better ilvl other classes can clear it too.

Thanks! Yes unfortunately sometime solo runs need rng to clear and it can be frustrating. For rng runs like this I usually set aside 30mins or 60mins session. If I don't pass the rng part I just go do something else for the rest of the day and then try again another day. I hope you'll get your clear soon!

It is the echo buff. Same thing happened to me without the echo. Phase 1 was 10% echo at 0:57 it shows the echo amount and Phase 2 I had 15% echo 7:57. Gears shown at 14:41. Food was Fruit and Aloe Jelly HQ and Grade 2 Gemdraught of Strength HQ.

@@MusuraChishiki Oh I see, I'm missing the little green Echoes. It sucks wiping to the orbs doesn't count towards giving you that.

@@KyonV13 Yup it sucks and it only gives 5% each wipe so I had to do the orbs successfully and reach enrage 3 times in one lockout to pass Phase 1.

Haha I remember as a kid minding my own business exploring the desert. Saw the quicksand, touched it and the Ruby Weapon encounter started then next thing I knew game over. It also brought its siblings Diamond and Emerald into FF14 as trial bosses. Sapphire is in a solo duty. Enjoy the revenge!

Haha I don't know which is best tank but I prefer GNB and PLD. GNB cause of rotation and Lionheart! PLD because I like the aesthetics and being able to save party members is so satisfying for me.

Glad you enjoyed it. Dawntrail opens up a decent amount of soloing for normal jobs like O2S, O11S and O12S. From Eden I have done E2S, E4S and E9S (E3S I was able to get it down to 25% so I think savage raiders should be able to solo it). ShB extremes there is Innocence, Titania, all the weapons boss. Also Tsukuyomi Ex can be kill before meteors now.

Holy Sheltron and it's level 92 MIT Upgrade. He also used Reprisal but I think it came in too late to truly benefit from it.

Since Azulapus already answered I just want to add I also clemency after the 5th orb + weave in another holy sheltron.

Whomever figured the orbs out is amazing. I only knew this was possible the other day when I saw Mr.Happy's video popped up. From my attempts bursting the orbs seems very unreliable.

@MusuraChishiki I've been trying it on GB but I haven't been able to get that movement down. Guess it gives a reason to level Paladin though XD

At 2:57 I use HoC and Camouflage as soon as I regain control. Then Aurora before the delta attack goes off. The HoC buff will expire and release its heal before the petrification kicks in.
