On the 12/10/2024, my friend visited and filmed a round trip on the Cholsey & Wallingford Heritage Railway in Oxfordshire, and motive power was provided by a Class 08 shunter diesel locomotive on the outward journey and the R3 Class steam locomotive number 1788 "Kilmersdon" on the return journey.

On the 04/08/2024, me and my friend visited the Fifield Private Railway in Berkshire during the annual Fifield Fun Day event when the railway is open to the public. Here we see the Peckett & Sons saddle tank steam locomotive number 1756 “Hornpipe” and the Andrew Barclay saddle tank steam locomotive number 699 “Swanscombe” running on the above mentioned railway.

so whats the situation with this train? Who even maintains it? Does it have any parts avaliable? Metro Cammell doesn't exist, Vivarail went bankrupt.
@jakewynn Well GWR are maintaining the class 230’s at the moment since they are still doing test runs at the moment but don’t know when they are coming into service. GWR did buy Vivarail stake couple of years ago when Vivarail went bankrupt. Metro Cammell has not existed for a long time since Alstom took over the old factory in Birmingham before that factory shut down long time ago.

@LiftEnthusiast20200 I do agree they had a very good sound the class 365. Wish they kept these trains for another 13 years instead retiring them on their 26th year in service.

That line It's called Shenfield to Southend line trains so my greater anglia trains colour its Cerise pink a and that's my new colour train develop for national rail
I wonder if anyone uses this to go to work and back.
When this train 🚂 🚊 🚆 was brand new 🆕, it was delivered to the southwest of England 🏴 is class 158870. It’s been in the southwest of England 🏴 from 1990 until around 2007 that went to Scotland 🏴 and finally to the north of England 🏴. The question 🙋♀️ is that is the train 🚆 🚊 🚂 refurbished terrible 😢 😞 😣 because what’s been said in around 2021. Class 158s and 159s are second generation DMU - Diesel ⛽️ Multiple Unit trains 🚂 🚊 🚆 have a toilet 🚾 🚽 🚻 , gangway throughout, no smoking 🚭 accommodation is because it’s prohibited 🚫 on all trains 🚂 🚆 🚊 around the world 🗺️ 🌏 🌍 🌎 , comfortable seats 💺, bins 🗑️ 🚮 , luggage 🧳 rack, air conditioning and finally has a carpet. By 2040, all DMU - Diesel ⛽️ Multiple Unit trains 🚂 🚊 🚆 will be removed from the UK 🇬🇧 - United Kingdom 🇬🇧 is England 🏴 , Wales 🏴 and finally Scotland 🏴. NT - Northern runs its services everyday and public holidays except Christmas 🎄 🎅 🧑🎄 🤶 Day. 👍

seat moquette is perfect. in wish i went on one of these but i went on a 319 instead.
It's fascinating how it kinda sounds similar to the Jubilee Line, and the company involved were the ones who did the Jubilee Line (if I explained that correctly).
@itsNikash yes I do agree on this that class 465 sounds kinda of similar to the Jubilee Line. They were built by Alsthom-Metro-Cammell before the factory shut down in Birmingham.

@MPD Transport unfortunately at the time the class 442 had a lot teething troubles at the before they where withdrawn from service on the South Western network.
That motor sound is just perfect!
I dont understand the seating on a class 317, i remember, blue class 317/7 seats, do they also have overground moquette some of them, do class 317/7s have first class, and what do those seats look like

The 4 car class 317 trains 🚂 🚆 🚊 have previously been allocated to the various parts in the city 🌆 of London area and the southeast of England 🏴 including east Anglia in England 🏴 in the past. All class 317 trains 🚂 🚆 🚊 have first class accommodation, toilets 🚽 🚾 🚻, luggage 🧳 rack, no smoking 🚭 accommodation because it’s prohibited 🚫 on all trains 🚂 🚊 🚆 and railway 🚃 stations 🚉 around the world 🗺️🌎 🌍 🌏 , have a luggage 🧳 rack in most carriages and have comfortable seats 💺. The 4 car class 345 trains 🚆 🚊 🚂 have stopped ✋ being used for public transport since around perhaps 🤔 2019. There are very brand new 🆕 trains 🚂 🚆 🚊 that have previously replaced the class 317s. Plenty of class 317s have gone to the scrapyard. The 4 car class 317s are EMU - Electric ⚡️ Multiple Unit trains 🚊 🚆 🚂 that are made between 1981 and 1982. In the east Anglia area, the current train 🚊 🚆 🚂 company is called GA - Greater Anglia. The doors 🚪 🚪 🚪 are automatic operating doors 🚪 and have open windows 🪟 🪟 🪟 . The wheels 🛞 on the trains 🚊 🚆 🚂 are metal wheels 🛞. Gangway is throughout. GA - Greater Anglia runs its services everyday and public holidays except Christmas 🎄🧑🎄 🤶 🎅 Day and Boxing 🥊 Day. 👍 ✊ 😃 😀 😁 😄

hi used to go past this place on the way to work i have to say they got the track down very fast and i wonder why there was allways a big lot of cars down that way note they only had a small loop of track my bro said they done alot of work down there he's a train fan there use to be some loops on tracks a round bracknell now there's a place for all the train lovers it's a good thing
They need to get that thing to go over the track approaching and leaving Camden Town on the East Finchley to Euston route. The screeching noise is unbearable

@itsNikash yes it is nice to see ultra rare trains go by on the underground and I do agree it is a find. I saw it at Northfields depot on my way to work and I thought I might film it going by even those trains are here to record the track to see if they are in good condition or not.

@HamidHamid-je9jz Unfortunately at the moment I really don’t know when the last day of service for the class 455 for SWR. But there should be updates on railways articles on the web or in railways magazines.
