Most Scenic Place in Bali: A Bali Travel Vlog

I went exploring with my motorcycle, totally randomly and off the beaten track, until I stumbled on this absolute gem of a scenic beach. This spot was mostly locals with only a few tourists, with newly married couples visiting the scenic rocky beach for their wedding photography, and local Balinese people going out to have a beautiful evening. It was really beautiful and refreshing. I enjoyed s...

bro, i love your video, please update more video
Must be co-renting, obviously someone else also lives there.
Nope, you're wrong dude, I had the unit for myself.
we need these in LA asap!
It's a nice place.
W apartment
$380 in India would get you a 3 Bedroom, a hall and a kitchen along with a balcony and probably vehicle parking as well. So... I wouldn't say it's really ideal for a single person. But then again it all depends on the cost of living and the overall income of the location. I'd prefer living in Japan any day over India just because of the quality of living there.
@@sailikith3576 where do you recommend moving to in India for an American expat?
@@badrtravels I’d say you could probably move to either Bangalore or Hyderabad. I know most would say Mumbai or Delhi but tbh they’re just really unhygienic in my opinion.
Wanna live here maybe 5-10 years from now....
Wow! That would never happen in America.😮
Is internet included in your rent? How about electricity? Thx
Great video, I will be moving to Osaka, Japan in the near future 😀, and now I have an idea of what to buy thanks 😊 👍 🎉🎉❤❤
🙏🙏
hey thanks for sharing, would you share where did you find this sort of rental apartment at this price point?
Look for leopalace website. Also some owners of these studios list them on Facebook.
@@badrtravels great thanks!
Hi, great video, thanks! Would love to rent a similar studio like you mentioned in the video. Could you provide more details?
Look for Leopalace
What surprised me the most was the grocery bill, you can't even get a week's worth of basic groceries here in northern europe for 30 USD.
Yeah Japan doesn't suffer from that kind of inflation
Americans would k!ll for the opportunity to live in a clean, safe studio Apt for under $400 USD!!
Agree!!
Don’t use your cutting board to prepare food. Scientists say cutting food on a plastic cutting board introduces microplastics into your body when you eat w/unknown, but unhealthy, consequences.
thanks for the tip! I use a wood board now

Does this complex have any parking lots for the tenants?
It’s very functional and livable. I just don’t think the door for the living area is necessary. Who else would be there that you want them to stay out of your living area?
Keeps cooking smell out of your sleeping area
I love how Japan maximizes space for living quality. You even have room for plants with plenty of natural light! In America a studio apartment will come with a full size oven with 4 stove burners, why would you even need it if it's just you?
True!!
Great content! Which visa should I apply to work as Digital Nomad?
They are changing the laws this year. Please look for the digital nomad visa, or the work visa.
@@badrtravels work visa is for japan jobs only
Is this particular apartment pet friendly?
I am not sure to be honest. If I had to guess I would say yes.
Great job... We love your work... Salam from Germany.
Thank you! Cheers!
Great micro apartment. The balcony is a big bonus.
Indeed!
What ward or city is this in Japan?
Adachi Ku
Thank you so much!@@badrtravels
grocery real cheap
Yes I was shocked how cheap Japan is
Which neighborhood is it in? Thanks.
Adachi-Ku next to Life supermarket/ Museum / Coco curry
Thank you so much!@@badrtravels
The place looks golden, my only problem it has a electric stove, and not a gas stove.
But it's a Japanese electric stove and it works like a charm. It's also a lot safer as you wouldn't want gas is such a confined space.
That`s an ideal living space and rent for a single person . You could even store a cycle(better still one which folds) on the balcony, dry your clothes there, grow some nice plants and sit amongst them. I would quite happily live there.
Indeed. It is an efficiency masterpiece!
love your contents, keep it up!
Thanks a lot. Will upload something new soon!
I think you need to buy another trashcan for garbage segregations
I did eventually!
I had a terrible experience with Safety wing. I don't recommend it. I got sick in Thailand and Safety Wing passed me to the real insurance provider which was located in the US. I had to call them and was very hard to reach. They are also very unhelpful. After calling multiple times, I gave up and did not get my refund at the end. I don't recommend Safety Wing.
Love the place! Its got everything you need. The price is very reasonable. Quite roomy compared to other places ive seen.
Haha this is roomy?
Loved the balcony best. Fresh air. Street level. Away from the claustrophobia of the pokey living space !
Yes I sat there a lot. Also spent hours every day at Mizumoto lake
Wow, you know a pretty nice for one person but you’re right I don’t like the loft
Yes the loft could have just disappeared it would have been nicer
Bali is island in indonesia country 🇮🇩 you know
Indeed :)
moja szopa na rower jest większa xD
Myślę, że moja łazienka poza Japonią jest większa
Wow, great space and good buys too - thank you for sharing 🙂.
Thank YOU for watching :)
Guy casually drops that he has a brother living in Japan. No biggie.
Lol it does help to have fam who knows the place but I really spent most of my time on my own and did everything by myself. My brother came in clutch with the Landlord tho
how much yen for the initial money? and how much is the monthly rent?
Deposit depends from LeoPalace to LeoPalace. Rent is around $350-$400/month
That's a nice apartment!
I agree! Thanks for watching
Love the balcony
I know it's so cute
Bro, missed my Japan trip because my passport is still missing 😢😂. Hope you continue to upload more vids. Been idle for a while but now back for more
Same bro. My mext video will be from manila rooftop
Can you link to the studio listing please?
Look for LEOPALACE tokyo. They have a website and they also post on Facebook. Look for Japan expats groups and Japan rental groups.
380 for that seems pretty decent! in fact, I'd take that deal almost instantly if I saw it, especially for Tokyo. I could only assume the downside would be the fact that it is a good hike from a station or if the sound is terrible
Nearest tation is 25 min walk yes. Next one is 35 min walk, which serves a different line. I walked a lot in that neighborhood.
25 minute walk 2x a day, that's decent exercise actually @@badrtravels
I am curious to the Stations in Japan have bike racks? @@badrtravels
Hi, you mentioned your brother helped you with getting some stuff sorted out there. Did you apply for a tourist visa with guarantor? Is it legal to work for your company back home while on a tourist visa in Japan? I can't find any reliable resources on this, so some firsthand info would be great to have. I am planning a trip for 90 days, but not sure which visa i should apply for.
I only stayed for 90 days which was allowed by my american passport however if you would like to stay there you should research the visa options, as i have not researched all the options except the visa where you are sponsored by a japanese employer for a year or two
Text me on ig @tamethewolf
@@badrtravels Do you mean that for 90 days and under it should be fine? or for the tourist visa?
@@badrtravels Thanks for the reply! So do you mean that for 90 days and under it should be fine to work for me to work remotely? I'm kind of asking from a Japan's legal perspective for a tourist.
@@badrtravels I would like to know this too, if you can legally work remotely with a tourist visa?
Which visa you apply as a digital nomad ?
So far I only wanted to test what life was like there, so I stayed for only 90 days. But I am thinking of applying for a work visa which needs a sponsorship, and I found many English-teaching schools that can sponsor me.
@@badrtravels good luck 👍 but i am dogital nomad as a forex trader ... i earn 10k dollars to 13k dollars per month ... what visa will you suggest for me ?? I think business manager is only option for me now 🤔
@@trendyshort_ in your case I would recommend talking with a visa agency about the Startup visa, or the working holiday visa.
@@badrtravels at first i have considered about student visa to learn Japanese language but then many people say if u send large money to your home country in your student visa then there will be problem in visa extension
@@trendyshort_ I also heard about certain rules, which is why it is important to speak to a Visa Specialist.
Hey! How hard to rent from that website you shared? Im going to Japan in this year as digital nomad. Still researching for accommodation. Apparently Airbnb is rather expensive and not fully finished. Preferable internet included.
Depends on the Landlord. If you have a friend in Japan who can call for you and speak Japanese it will help you 100x!
I really love your attitude and the way you share on here. Congrats on getting to 1k. We just got there too. Subed to add one and keep in touch. Cheers!
I appreciate it!!! Subbed right back!

As park rangers and anthropologists, we appreciate when people share culture, history, and nature on social media. I hope you enjoy your adventures and thank you for supporting our channel. - Turtle
Thanks for the love. I will follow you guys. Do you have an instagram too?
Can’t you only stay in Japan for 3 months though? And you’re not really supposed to work on it? It’s my dream to live in Japan and I’ve been learning the language but hard with a remote job.
Yes I spent 3 months to try how I like living here. The plan was to find a sponsorship for a long term visa, but I decided to keep travelling for now. I will definitely come back to Japan at some point on a sposor contract of 1-2 years and take it from there. And yes the language is hard man.... but doable if you apply yourself
What about language challenges? Do you speak Japanese? Are there signs in English? If not, how do you order food in a restaurant? shop at the grocery (i.e. read the labels to know exactly what you're buying)? know which train to take? Do they have map booklets of the city, the way London does - so you can get around and know where you're going? Are these in different languages, especially English?
I do not speak Japanese. There is very little English written or spoken except in touristy areas. I often use google translate and literally show my phone to staff at supermarkets who are always SUPER helpful and go above and beyond to help me find what I need. I use translate-camera on ingredients lists and store labels. As for the train, google maps directions tells me what station and platform to take, and the ticket machines have English option. At restaurants I often point at pictures 😂 but waiters understand basics like "small/ medium/ large" and I often eat at Sushi places where you order with a tablet which has English option...etc just jump in with both feet and don't be afraid, you will make it. I will make another video about living in Japan without speaking Japanese. Cheers 😊
@@badrtravels Thanks! Can you also do a video comparing Bali and Japan - for digital nomads? With pros and cons for both?
@@TheVeritie great idea!
