I held a 4D Maglite for 2 hrs. while Leroy signed autographs, due to a lighting problem at his table. I also took care of his parents while they attended the show. Leroy is a really Great guy!

Damn, that's a LOT of guitars up there! Dig the tempo; WAY more rockin' than the studio version. That's great too, though. Late bloomer to Mr. ETC's work, but, I'm a fan for life now, R.I.P. brother!

I like Lee Roy Parnell, his slide guitar and his singing voice,it's what had drawn me in. His guitar playing reminds me of Eric Clapton in the old version of Layla and of Bonnie Raitt.

1.491 VIEWS but only 22 ( including mine) LIKES!???? Everyone must prefer the fake ass bubblegum pop commercial radio friendly wanna be country that has no heart, no soul, no balls, no testosterone fueled boot burning of REAL COUNTRY MUSIC! Today's fake country, everyone sounds the same, same low energy sappy pop geared for the 12 year old little girl. Like Travis TRITT said, PUT SOME DRIVE IN YOUR COUNTRY!

You wrote a hell of a good song👍 too bad the damn Nashville politics got in the way with Garth Brooks and his cabal keeping songs like this from deservedly being in the number 1 spot on the charts!!! If they had used the old methodology THIS SO G WOULD HAVE BEEN NUMBER 1 ON THE CHARTS (Sorry, had to get that off my chest).

I miss the original video for this song. When it came out, I went out and bought a television and got cable just so I could watch for hours to see it come on. That's how much I loved it. And then, I'm not sure where I got the phone number, but I called someone in Nashville and gushed about how much I loved this song and his version of it (George Jones did it too.) Anyway, the woman I spoke with in Nashville said she had a video on her desk that someone didn't pick up and she mailed it to me! I'm sure I wore it out over the years. I remember giving it away when I moved into a motorhome because....well, you just can't take everything you want into a motorhome. I don't live in a motorhome now, unfortunately. Anyway, glad to see this video even if it isn't the original.
