I love this series. I know SH2 is regarded as the best, but playing the first one with its dated (yet aesthetically pleasing) graphics was just a great experience. Also this is easily the best ost from this game imo

Currently high right now, somewhere in my adulthood. Just want to confess that this was my go to game in 2011. In 2003 I knew highly of SH3, reading it in game magazines, seeing it on store shelves, and coming home to xplays review on it.. But I was never allowed to play it, cause of my young age :( Then 8 years later when I finally graduated high school, my gift was 100 bucks. I took that money straight to gamestop and asked for a PS2 (This was during the last few years of PS2's sales). While they were getting it. I started flipping through the shelves, and the first game that caught my eye was SH3. I grabbed it immediately. Along with Silent Hill 2 next to it, checked out with the PS2, went straight home and fired up SH3. That night it was so scary.. Playing it on old that CRT while cramped up on a seat made it a living horror movie experience. Not only was it was the scariest game I've played that night, but it had the most banging soundtrack I've ever heard at that age. Every single track had its own theme and tune to them. For the rest of the summer, my CD playlist was filled with nothing but Silent Hill tracks. This track of End of Small Sanctuary brings me back to the years of innocent youth. Thanks for a great upload.

I love this song so much. I often play it to go to sleep. I just tried playing it at a slower speed to make it last longer, and it is absolutely terrifying lol.

These games relieve me of anxiety, its ironic because they are survival horror occult games. However something about these games is so esoteric. My favorite is the 3rd game, Heather will always be a memorable character to me.
