Hard to watch that game lads, as an Irish fan I have always loved the Wallabies. Hopefully you can turn it around, the only way is up.

This type of thing comes from wanting to play "open rugby" against your better judgement against a team which you thought you could do so, instead of hiding behind alleged injured props so that you dont have to scrum. The record loss would have been against the Boks, at home.

Ur guys defence or lack there of broke you. however the attack was encouraging and I suppose wat didn't help was the fatigue factor. The argies targeted the last quarter... caught u guys napping . Poor defense but was the Australian set piece better in general? Pumas were good at pulling that apart in open and reverted to taps. Aus needs to get to the point they can manage a game towards their strengths - most pieces are there aside from experience at 10. Can they afford Matt giteau tho?

Yep, definitely a god idea to go back to bed, and act like this game didn't happen.

Imagine doing everything possible to get SA out of SR, and then losing the ability to compete against the top rugby teams...surely making Nzru your bestie, would translate to greater rugby success than ever? Argentina also doing far better with the bulk or their players competing up North, than when they had all of them in SR.

British Lions tour to Australia next year will be tough for Australia. Going forward I think future Lions tours should be against combined rugby championship teams not 4 countries against 1. Make it 4 against 4 and you will see great rugby instead of 1 sided affairs. I hope Australian rugby somehow somewhere finds some great players like they had throughout the 1990's and early 2000's.

SA have a huge advantage not only do they have far more players than anyone else they can also select overseas players not to mention rugby is the only team sport SA win anything in unlike Australia and NZ who play many sports at a high level with far less people for example SA is the only RC side that haven't won any other world cups or world titles in team sports outside of rugby.

How do you fix Rugby Aus? If I had a magic wand I’d do the following: Allow all players eligible to play for Aus, to play. There are plenty of notable player in Eu and Japan, who would certainly help the squad. Why not pick them? What do you have to lose. Secondly, I’d potentially cut another team. Maybe the Rebels. Aus simply does not have enough talent coming through to make 4 home teams commercially viable. Yes, this sounds contradictory to point 1, but it isn’t. Lastly, I’d lobby really hard to get the Jaguares back into SR. Are you telling me they can’t / won’t add to the comp as a whole? PS, give it time. Schmidt won’t fix things overnight.
