​@@mechanicalDave Idk much about keyboards, only know that mechanical have replaceable keycaps, if this keyboard has that then awesome. All in all I just love the keyboard. Takes me back to the old days where my school was filled with these.

@@ellutrixkringe.4186 oh no worries, we are all here to learn 😉, any keyboard can have replaceable keycaps if there is a demand for more custom options or manufacturing of it. I think you could be referring to custom keycaps set thats commonly seen on modern mechanical keyboards. Ive had multiple rubber dome membrane keyboards which uses the same type of keycap that can be replaced if one of them broke. Speaking of these older keyboards, they are pretty nostalgic to me as well. Mechanical or not. Plus this specific one had its original keycaps replaced with better quality ones which yields better sound than the original

Haha yeah, of all the method’s I tried, this one leaves the least scars off the housing. Just make sure you sharpen the edge with some file to make sure they go inside the tabs easier, as well as bending them inwards so it pushes them further and wont get stuck while pulling them out

some switches produce an upstroke tick because there is a very tiny gap between the switch housing and the click leaf. I myself find this annoying and to prevent that, i taped the back of the click leaves one by one with masking tape to ensure the gaps are filled (if more gaps remain, it works as a paper based dampeners too!) Most people stuff paper in between the gap (hence the name paper mod) but because there are no adhesives to hold them in place so it might fall out of place over time, so i used masking tape instead.
