I am very hopeful. Assuming these updates are all real, I think this was the right choice for the game. They definitely went to early access too soon, as showcased by going radio silent for so long. That being said, I think they made the right call, instead of trying to develop the game with decreasing audience and interest they just got to work fixing and improving the game in the background. Their only mistake was not removing the game from the store, at least temporarily, making it seem like a dead game cash grab. I knew the risks when buying this early access game, but I can confidently say that I've already got my money's worth of gameplay from it, so seeing this I am thrilled.

I absolutely love this game. It is a pity because it bugs a lot. Being stuck on a rock is the minor of the bugs. In my case, I have played it in 2 different computers and the problem is always the same: after playing for a god amout of time and progressing through the game, iit starts to lag so much until it becomes unplayable, the savegame becomes lagged as well. I have no idea how to avoid it and I have to give up playing.

The game is still being managed by its developer. They are having events (i got 4th place in one of those events earlier this year). The game is in a very acceptable state. I don't know of any crash bugs and the gameplay is solid.

I just bought the game but there is no one. The highest pop server i found was in Russian with 10 people. And says Version Mismatch when im trying to join the official NA/EU server

Played The Invincible and liked it for the intriguing story and the retro futuristic art design. (Also read Stanislaw Lems novel to know more about the world.) I finished it before the recent update. This update adresses some of the issues you brought up in the video. Faster movement where it is possible, 3rd person view for the rover segments and a added FOV setting option, there may be more. It is a niche game within a niche (hard sci fi and walking sims) - I found it to be worth my time.

It's so fucking hard man. The game would be so much better in 2d or 2.5D.

You do know you can pick the old mode with no hp bar i mean peopke just talk even tho they know nothing about the game

The Jalopy dev is making another car game, Honcho! It's set in 1980s Japan and you can earn money by filling vending machines!

I love Jalopy, sadly it got abandoned with ton of bugs. This is the perfect of a game that if it had mod support, it would still be being played a lot. I also sort of disliked the history, but that is a personal take, and honestly, doesn't deter from the cool game mechanics.

Look, I love Jalopy. However, the story is the publisher burned the developer and tied the game up in publishing negotiations. That was years ago, and the game has lots of bugs that will never be fixed. It's perfectly enjoyable, but very aggravating when you are trying to get that last achievement and every time, without fail, you will encounter a run ending bug.
