Ivan Parker, Mark Catenzero and I wrote These Are They in Flemish. It was written on Easter of 1983. It was written after my Confirmation at age 16 in Los Angeles. The song was written during a period of time when I was being attacked and sodomized every time I rode the bus anywhere. The attacks were so bad that sometimes I went mute. Ivan and Mark wanted to encourage me to stay faithful to God during adversity.

Kwe' im from Cape Breton Island. Eskasoni 1st Nation. one of the largest mikmaq speaking communities left. Big cove in NB is 2nd. they speak mikmaq there too but its more french mixed.my 2 kids' their dad from there. he speaks it good. but i noticed a lot of words said different. ive been making videos , mainiy reels. Spreaking mikmaq. I can speak it pretty fluently, i talk to everyone and anyone including my pets, mikmaq.. idk how i would be able to narrate quick short stories. the more u hear it n pracitce it. it just naturally comes to you. sorry about the punctuation n all lowercase. have a good day! ke'luk'tij na'kwe'kem. tahoe

Hi, I'm new here, and many comments of David Phelps being the best, which I attested to my brother's and we agreed, but when I said I'm new here, I meant in the sense that, I Just discovered(tonight at 3AM) a Larnelle Harris and I couldn't literally stop myself from scrolling and listening to him sing. I honestly can't believe I'm saying this but my favorite singer David Phelps has been replaced by Larnelle. It's a matter of opinion and taste I know, but to bring into consideration of someone else deemed to be in the category of singers as such to at least bring his name next to his. Bless you all.
