Welcome to my world of movement and creation. I am Yeri Anarika,
a dance artist born in Mexico and based in Berlin and the
Uckermark (North Brandenburg). With more than 25 years of
international experience, I share my passion for the art of dance in
connection with other arts as a performer, creative director and
teacher.
My passion is to set creative processes in action through dance,
using contemporary themes in order to better understand the
world in which we live and to achieve a sensitive understanding of
our world.
I lead my own dance association "UMtanz which aims to bring the
art of dance closer to the people and I often work as a
choreographer and workshop teacher with art universities, schools
and professional dance, opera and theater companies, as well as
initiating and guiding projects for cultural education and projects
in the community. Welcome to sensitive movement arts.

InYourBody (Full Show) by Yeri Anarika
"InYourBody" demonstrates the dual nature of humanity: the creative, innovative, and visionary power on one hand, contrasted with the relentless pursuit of economic profit through power and control on the other. The dancer portrays Mr. Monsanto, a character who embodies both the brilliance and the darkness of power. Through a fusion of urban and contemporary dance, Tirado expresses creativity and ambition, along with power and vulnerability. The performance delves into themes of technological progress and its consequences, nature, and the complex emotional fabric of humanity. The work is accompanied by live music, including the cello, as well as electronic music and multimedia elements.

@@scarletred8888 Oh you mean _like that..._ Well then, I absolutely agree with you! You know, sometimes when I find the music being almost "too inspiring" (if you know what I mean) I tend to become so overwhelmed with specific emotions I'm not ready to fully let out through my dancing yet, OR, don't yet know *how to,* so I just end up standing there not feeling like I have the skills to dance to such a song - I end up not being able to move at all. Does that make sense? 😳 The music in this video is best suited for warm ups for most people, they should play more emotional and "real" stuff as the class progresses in my opinion. Its definitely not something you'd _perform_ to... So I get what you are saying. I think I'm just so used to my instructor have more "simple" music playing when I dance, so it sort of taught me how to find emotion and theme in ANY song, even if it was kind of dull 🤔 Finding that in some very simple beats can be hard. I think that's how a lot of choreographers are made though. Learning how to work with almost _anything._ It requires a certain kind of creativity and deep listening behind it I guess. But for a class like this, you're absolutely right. Especially if they ONLY have classes with this kind of music, how would they keep being inspired for new dimensions to their movements so to speak? Yeah absolutely. We need music with more feeling as well👌🏼
