So every now and then I randomly remember once seeing someone on tv called Malachi on one of them talent shows back when they were actually new and interesting (to me). I remember the "Vincent" performance and was so impressed with your voice when I heard that performance! So I finally found myself googling to figure out who that singer was. Thankfully not a super common name 🙂 Still a brilliant singer!

Besides the beautiful hymn and nature scenes, I was impressed that the actor portraying Patrick made the sign of the cross from the right to the left shoulder, just as Christians did in Patrick's day and for all the first millennium of the undivided Church. Malachi sang this song beautifully at my dad's funeral last month - he also sand the old rugged cross, my dad's favourite - he was amazing! I cannot stop listening to his lovely voice and thinking how much dad would've loved his singing!
