Catching Massive Bream in Henderson
Hey guys hope yall enjoyed the video! I decided to go fishing with my friend Landon in the Atachafayla Basin on July 14, 2024. In about 3 hrs we caught about 30 bream, but only kept 17 good sized ones. Mainly fishing cypress trees with live crickets with a good Ole KFred fishing rod. Offshore fishing out of Port Fourchon, LA, with Down the Bayou Charters. Cpt. Joey and deckhand Noah had us on the fish. We caught Mahi, Red Snapper, and a 160lbs Swordfish. Went out to Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge on a beautiful Saturday morning in South Louisiana with my buddy Zack. We were able to catch about 5 dozen crabs in a few hours. Had an amazing time down in Grand Isle, LA! Caught a ton a fish and met some awesome people. Definitely a memorable trip! Thanks to our Capitan John for putting us in the right spot, while most people were struggling catching, we were not! Caught most of our fish by 11AM, and received 4 different trophies for our team. @livewithnick only if you would know how to let a dog live, my dog wanted to be out there! Eventhough it wasn't on camera my dog had a bowl of water available and was being taken care of! Like he always has been!
@@asportsmanslife337 i absolutely know how to let a dog live. Ive been raising and hunting with labs and english pointers for a long time. You can see the whole boat floor at times but no water bowl. Regardless there were obvious signs the dog was too hot and you apparently missed them or dont know what to look for. Then you yell at your dog for trying to cool off. He was being taken care of alright...

I live in Louisiana and i wouldn't take my dog fishing in this kind of heat , i could hear him panting . That's why he jumped in the water along with the gators .

Those look too small
They definitely weren't the biggest but legal size. Lots of times, the smaller ones are more full of meat and are good for a stew.

Female crabs are just as good, but the males do have better fat inside!
