Kerja di Offshore bergantung kepada kemampuan dan kebolihan masing-masing selain sijil pendidikan yang dimiliki. Apapun jaminan masa depan memangnya cerah yang penting sentiasa memperbaiki kebolihan diri biar sealiran dengan peranan yang dibuat. Ramai yang bermula daripada Zero to Hero, apa tidaknya seorang yang bermula dari jawatan Riger setelah beberapa lama berminat dibahagian dapor lalu diterima jadi cook, chief cook, camp boss kini chief food supplier kesemua barge/platform/kapal milik syarikat milik tempat berkerja. Ada riger setiap kali cuti balik dari kerja dilaut belajar dgn perbelanjaan sendiri dgn ongkos hampir rm10k , kini dia memeliki sijil Safety Officer terus diserap kejawatan tersebut oleh syarikat tempatnya bekerja itu. Dengan gaji polohan ribu cerah masa depan. Seorang lagi yang kita temui dari seorang riger kini berjawatan superviser dengan pengelaman lebih 20 tahun, merasa cukup puas hati atas layanan syarikatnya hingga 3 orang anaknya berjaya dimenara gading dengan perbelanjaannya sendiri. itu hanya diantara cerita-cerita mereka yang berjaya nanmun tentunya tak semudah itu untuk mencapainya yang pasti sikap yang penuh disiplin itu antara yang terpenting bekerja di sana itu.

@5:10, mcm 18kts saja..kalau 30kts jauh hujung sana "rooster tail" bot tu. ko pikir kerajaan pikir utk rakyat..? habis licin minyak & gas disedut..baru kepala hantuk mangkali. patut kerajaan fikir mcm Norway..tapi mimpi lah..mati dulu generasi kita ni.
