My RUclips channel provides videos for the three courses that I have taught at the University of North Texas including Principles of Accounting, Intermediate Accounting One, and Intermediate Accounting Two. For my two intermediate courses, I have included every single subject. These videos have titles with numbers following the title from 1 to 21. Those videos labeled with an "a" following the number are the lectures for the particular subject. Those videos that end with a "b" are the accounting problems for these subjects. I believe that the videos with the accounting problems might be especially useful for students. You can always pause the video, work the problem yourself, and then restart the video to see how I work the problem. Best of luck with your accounting courses!!!

This was the celebration of the Wolfpack victory over Duke in the 2024 Elite Eight game that was played in Dallas on March 31st.

This video was shot in the American Airlines Center in Dallas on March 31st 2024. While the Duke fans left the stadium, the Wolfpack fans gathered around the court downstairs. What a celebration! The Wolfpack Red filled up the lower bowl of the stadium. Kevin Keats high fived the fans near me while DJ Burns danced a victory dance on the court. The Pack heads to the Final Four.

This video was taken immediately following the game. No one in Wolfpack Red left the stadium. People in the crowd were tearing up. It is hard to get better than beating Carolina for the ACC Championship and then Duke to get into the Final Four. This game was played in the American Airlines Center in Dallas on March 31 2024.

I provide an overview of this in my You Tube video with the title named Principles of Accounting: Accounts Receivable. I would start there but then read your textbook. The textbook is such a valuable resource. Students who read and study the textbook are the students who make A’S and B’s.
as someone who is debating on switching majors - you made accounting fun to learn and better explained it than my prof.
Accounting is a great major, all organizations need accountants including companies, governments, and not for profit entities. You can always find a job with an accounting degree.

For time value of money, in intermediate 2, do you also have a video where you calculate how to do accounting for debt investments and how we record them in the journal entries with examples?
Yes, look at my two videos on Investments that are numbered 12a and 12b, also look at Bonds Payable, 13a and 13b. Bonds payable are just the reverse side of Bond Investments. The calculation of fair value is the same time value of money calculation for both.

The indirect method is just a math exercise once you have the balance sheet and income statements, so much easier than the direct method which is why most companies use it.
