While Barbadians are credited with the invention of modern rum, we believe it's the Haitians who have truly mastered the art.
Join us as we travel to the charming coastal town of Jacmel, home to the historic Hotel Florita. This grand establishment, opened in 1888, is renowned for crafting what many argue are the best rum sours in Haiti, and perhaps even the world.
Their secret? A classic cocktail made entirely from local ingredients: freshly squeezed sitwon (limes), pure cane sugar, and, of course, the star of the show, Barbancourt rum.
