This short video is testing my latest purchase which is a N Gauge Locomotive, this is a Great Western Railway 9400 Class which was brought at Sawyer Models while at Model Rail Crewe Exhibition. I was testing to see if the locomotive works and also the 2nd hand track that I have as well.

I love the 3d printed ducks. Remember seeing that layout at the Syston show back in January but didn't had a train of ducks back then
If this was on the Saturday then it was me shunting on many gates, had good fun that day despite a few setbacks, great show.

No worries Mav, Thanks for the kind words and sadly I work Saturdays myself but had the week of so decided to head over on the Saturday, Only a hour and 45 minutes journey with changes at Nuneaton and Leicester

Excellent layout, very impressive! Just 1 small thing though, the 121s were always run with cab facing front. For a very brief period,back at their introduction 1961,they ran with engine frontways.
So I'd heard, but how would a single 121 have managed a return trip without a turntable or turning triangle?
The 121s were turned around on a turntable. I often helped my father do this operation in Sligo. Moreover,in later years,they were always run paired. This was with another 121class or the 141 class. I remember them all well.

Excellent, Simon. Looks like a sturdy loco. I'm always afraid of damaging the steam outlie loco's in N Gauge but that one had a solid look and sound to it. Cheers!

No worries and it's a shame that you didn't make it. Weaver Hill is a layout I've seen before and was great to see it again and was impressed with how Flint Hills was run as well.
