Man or Astro-Man? - Put Your Finger In The Socket (Guitar lesson)
Просмотров 411Год назад
'Put Your Finger In The Socket' is off the 1995 Man or Astro-Man? album 'Intravenous Television Continuum'. The original song has single note lines & power chords. I changed it up a bit using more chords. I've been playing Surf guitar for only a month so pardon my sloppy timing. Using a vibrato arm is hard. Nice and hard. Recorded with a smart phone. My 1964 Lincoln Continental (slideshow)
One of the greatest car chases in cinema history.
A fabulous design year for American autos.
2002-2005 ford TBird built here too
Will we ever have automobiles is elegant as these again? I doubt it. Between the safety regulations these days and the Emission controls these days are sadly gone. Thank you so much for the video.
Followed your build, a real build, on the Offset forum, beautiful work, excellent result! What amp/reverb were you using in the clip?
Thank you! Very kind. A Surfybear metal with a Mustang GTX50 (the Princeton model).
I would like to order a Lincoln hard top and a Thunderbird for going to the golf course, and then I woke up 😂
Very nice, I'm going to have to watch the other videos now 😀
Thank you Sir.

I have a 1961 Thunderbird, Arizona car. The only reason it survived is because after leaving Michigan, it has never seen snow, ice, etc. and the owners' took care of it.. bad weather would destroy these quickly.
Hello Reijer, how can I get in contact with you? Also wrote a message on pin terest. Regards

Are they good?
Yes. The set of 58-61 Jazzmaster Vintage Correct pickups from Q Pickups are nicely balanced and very sensitive to pick attack. Neck pickup sounds huge and bridge not as bright (spiky... ice pick in ear) as current Fender Jazzmaster pure vintage 65 pickups.
What material is the body of a Tbrid car made of?
Leg dich NIEMALS mit Rockern an , es kann TÖTLICH enden ..
I once had a 1973 Dodge Charger, very similar to this one. Pretty car! All the guys wanted to buy it, and all the girls wanted to ride in it.
All that work to make and last a short time then scrapped. A disposiable society. One big racket!
musica por favor !
Did that Lincoln have sidepipes? to bad those cars got wrecked, guess they were nothing special when that movie was filmed
Which movie is this? Name???
With that cringeworthy singing in the background, I can see why he felt like running someone off the road. With Marvin Gaye and Bobby "Boris" Picket (of "Monster Mash" fame) in the same movie, I'd expect the music be better. Anyway, without a gun, I can't see any bike running a 5,000 pound Lincoln off the road; if I were driving, that guy would be roadkill.
I swear, EVERY TIME I push a cart of flowers across the street, a car smashes through it!
2:16 That radio, with more AM presets than FM ones, would get obsolete pretty fast, along with the manually controlled power antenna. At least by 1969, Cadillac had presets that were automatically swapped when you switched from AM to FM for a total of 10. But I can't think of any GM radio controls that looked as slick as the ones on this Lincoln.
Straight up welding with no helmets on, dope
It is always a mistake to judge history by what is going on now, including this practice.
We need to bring T-Bird, Lincoln and Pontiac Trans Am
The last great decade in USA history all to be ruined by the drunken ambition of LBJ
Those car carrying trucks (not the rail train) that is some massive weight to haul
That was Nichelle NIchols playing a female pimp in that movie in the white pant suit 4 years after Star Trek TOS when of the air in 1969
Why No 2 dr Lincoln till 68? Dumb. They did male a 2 door for Jackie Kennedy. We have it now
Retarded script
I can dig it, baby.
the sound effects of the car going down the hill sounded like the car was made out of wood or something 😂 😂
is this a song?
The Mysterians by Messer Chups.
nice
Thanks!
Have to laugh at those Nancy boys on the gay bikes trying to catch a very beautiful but slow car 😂
Even back then Detroit was already losing population...
By '65, the front end looked cheap compared to the '62. Maybe the change of the front end design was indicative for the mid-60s, but the original looked more elegant and delicate, and the update looked more pedestrian like it was taken off of a Galaxy500.
Beautiful. That is what I am going to ask muy luthier to do. how much was the overall weight, was It neck heavy?
Thanks man! Colour is Motip 54800. Final weight is 2.8 Kg. Yes a bit of imbalance but not enough to call it neck dive. Will post an update vid soon.
The best designed car ever. Ford should have never changed that design.
Motordum. It just sounds weird.
Me gusta el carro está muy bonito; saludos
My eyes can't take the flickering. This should have been digitized better.
What do you want for free?
@@MisterMikeTexas No flickering.
Awwwww poor thing lol
Worked at the Mahwah, N.J. assembly plant that built 52-54 cars per hour in 1966. I can attest to Fords being rust buckets because the dead panels where never painted. Worked at Pontiac on the full-size and Grand Prix line in '68 which built 85 cars per hour. They really pounded out these cars fast and employed an army of people at a living wage. Sadly, both plants are gone and with them their jobs. Say what you want about the cars back then, one could buy a Falcon or equivalent car for around $2,000. Cars today cost what houses did back then. I don't buy the adjusted for inflation argument. The US living standard peaked in 1966 when hours worked for goods one could buy is factored in. America has gone down the tubes per design of the elites.
The 1960s Lincolns were the most complex and well-built cars produced in the US.
It was cool to see Isaac Hayes on screen. And not even a dent on the Charger! Bravo!
Rare sunroof option, very collectable. It might have been a Road Runner with all the boxes ticked.
I don't know that I've ever seen a car fall apart in a movie chase scene like that before. And was the stunt driver really bad at driving, or did they intend to have the front end trashed after hitting a grocery cart? Not exactly a commercial for Lincoln!
David Lynch would like this
Thank you! Your comment makes me want to practice Twin Peaks Twist by Messer Chups. ruclips.net/video/tZZHrK311aw/видео.html
Love that movie
dis so luxury
This is not a TV commercial, this would be an internal film for training sales people
Bello e irrepetible
That was harsh!
