Great video! Except I had to install a Chrome extension called volume booster to hear the audio (the volume level is too low for me to hear even with my speakers on max.)

Have you considered questdb? There are also alternatives to grafana, like apache superset. This combination in particular is, I would argue, superior to influxdb with grafana

I have seen platforms like N3uron using MongoDB as the historians and Wizata using InfluxDB in the background. They both have UI for OT engineers to interact with the data without needing to query the database or knowing what database they are using. Doesn't No SQL database with good UI replace the so called Historian while allowing IT people to access and query the database directly? Another example is Thingsboard with Cassandra. I never needed to know what database I'm using when I create the dashboard and do flow based calculations on their rule chain. If I need to query the database directly, I just ask my IT guy to do it.

There's nothing related to microservice architecture in this video.

Ich muss sagen, eigentlich finde ich euren Ansatz super aber als Automatisierer erscheint mir der Aufwand um einzelene Datenpunkte zu verarbeiten viel zu hoch. Grüße Tobias
