Fantastic. I've been looking for something like this, as I was looking to use the cavity of the tailgate into storage for light item which will add weight to the tailgate. Having this will hopefully prevent it slamming down. 👍

Is there an option for a loose/flying lead button that can be remotely mounted? Want one of these for my 87 pickup but don’t want to cut my dash. Would mount the button in a dash blank above the stereo.

Would be great if you made these to suit right hand drive and had to option for km/h over mph. Big open space for aftermarket support with these cars. Untapped profits from Europe and Asia pacific
