I got an guitar ir tone of the album and added a lot of eq it to sound more closer with the original tone. I used the Gojira mid-gain amplifer and uploaded the ir in the cab section and used a lot of eq and compression to get really get everything at the same level.

@@iDevilzPain comp settings thres -24.3 ratio 5:8 knee 30 db attack 3.5ms release 460ms For eq scoop the mids at the 1182 hz -2.1db use a little lose pass for any highs too

I dont teach this stuf but ill tell you what you need to get started. you need an interface to plug your guitar into. an interface gets the raw sound of ur guitar into your computer. then you need a DAW (digital audio workstation) I use cakewalk because its free but there are tons others out there like FL studio, Reaper, Ableton, Pro Tools, etc the daw you get wont make you sound any better/a more skilled player, know that. Find a genre you like and start to get good at it by learning what that genre is comprised of. For me, its metal music. Metal music is comprised of fast riffage, distortion amps, and very precise playing etc. have fun with this stuff and know that it isn't a race rather a process that you will learn and get better at with time. there's many videos on youtube for you to get started.
