JMD has been designing and painting the most iconic helmets Formula One for decades. This is the absolute top of the game. Schumacher, Vettel and Verstappen among many other F1 drivers have all gotten their helmets from them. That says a lot.
When you look at some of his iconic designs from Seb and max,they aren’t just helmets they’re art in itself.

For people that want know who painted the Senna's helmet, search for SID Mosca. He passed away, but his son took the art to himself, and nowadays is painting too. The Sid's Studio painted the helmets of Senna, Barrichello, Fittipaldi, Piquet, Fisichella and also a Lotus car during a Brazilian GP.
Also, Sid Mosca designed the helmets of Michael Schumacher (before Ferrari's Era) and Mika Hakkinen (which is very similar to Senna's ones).

Tobacco sponsors were huge in f1 in the past, Marlboro, Camel, John player special, rothmans, mild seven, weirdly, the tobacco sponsored cars always had the coolest liveries. What alot of people dont know is the iconic red and white kerbs we see on many race tracks today were painted like that because of marlboro sponsors, and it stuck around after.

It’s not every day when you can boast to people that “I designed the helmets for 5 F1 world champions of their respective eras. Jens is seriously a legend. His designs are iconic piece of F1’s history.

Wat een mooie documentaire, helaas veel te kort. Diep respect voor de wijze hoe Wybe zijn droom heeft weten te realiseren en prachtig horlogemerk op de wereld heeft gezet. Ik zou heel graag eens bij dit bedrijf willen kijken.

Sinds vandaag heb ik er eindelijk ook een... een van de vroege modellen.. ongelooflijk mooi! 😍
Ooit voor deze beste man mogen werken. Toen der tijd kon ik hem op sommige dagen absoluut wel afschieten. Achteraf zeer teleurgestelt in de jongere ik, Achja je bent 21 en kan de wereld aan.. Wybe zal dit zelf waarschijnlijk nooit lezen. Echter heb ik wel spijt van de manier waarop wij onze eigen wegen zijn geslagen, ik heb een hoop geleerd en daarbij een grote kans om te groeien laten varen. Deze man heeft echt het beste met je voor, en levert een absoluut over de top precisie uurwerk. Ik weet nog goed dat ik een onderdeel uit de freesbank hield dat minder dan 0.05mm afweek van punt A naar B en deze afgekeurd werd. Mocht je dit wel ooit lezen Wybe, het gaat je goed. Mocht ik ooit de kans krijgen weet ik waar ik een prachtig horloge kan verkrijgen. Met het verleden terzijde.
