Installation Diffuser Tutorial Muzata Aluminum LED Channel
Lol
So with the top railing you didn't cut to a 45 degree angel. You just sued the "L" bracket? Please advise. Thanks, Ric
Yes, the top railing was secured using a L bracket instead of cutting it at a 45-degree angle. This method was used for a clean and seamless installation.
What size drill bit are you using in the metal
13/64" Drill bit for handrail, 5/32"Drill bit for connector
I like the lich king helmet 👍
😁😁
Awesome video. We are going to install this vertical. Love the tee wrench.
Glad you like it!
It’s tape… you don’t need to zip tie it. The adhesive is more than enough.
Looks great but no hvac in there it’s gonna get hot asf. Hey a ductless mini split or a window units and it’ll be good
As soon as you tighten that it’ll bend that back. Get a flare kit and do it right
These anchors seem like they would pull out over time with the tension required for install. Id choose an anchor that terminates on the other side with a nut and washer
This is a great thought, thanks for sharing!
Can you guys email me back? I paid for the quick design service and never received a list of materials, just a price which is useless to me. Thanks.
Hi, I think we saw your feedback on Instagram and have messaged you but didn't receive a reply from you, maybe you check the inbox or you tell me your order number for our convenience to check the information.
Does anyone really think that the washer is really going to stick to the treated wood? This is a very short term solution. If only they had a fix that would work as long as the rest of the cable system. Please come up with a better solution.
Thanks for the suggestion, we'll take it into consideration
Hi, where can I get adhesive washers from?
muzatarailing.com/collections/adhesive-sleeve You can get it here.
What size are your posts that are in between those 4x4 posts? What spacing are you using here between posts?
This is not very clear to me, perhaps you need our help with your project?
You say the aluminum is bendable but what about the actual plastic diffuser? I have an awkward corner that isnt 90 degrees and my diffusers are v shaped and I doubt connectors would help in this case
If you have any questions, you can contact us : support@muzata.com
Great product and system as I'm about to install this into my new deck.Cheers Muzata 👍👍
Great, looking forward to your final results, hope you can share them with us for a chance to win a prize, click here for the rules: muzatarailing.com/pages/social-event
Thanks. Nice job. You answered 2 questions I had that couldn’t seem to find an answer for. When ordering did you get any extra ends is the the count exact? Was thinking of ordering extras.
muzatarailing.com/products/cr07?_pos=1&_sid=34e1bca5d&_ss=r&variant=43657506914520 Are you talking about this end, generally we match the quantity required for the project, depending on the minimum quantity of the end package.
Is that the correct way
do you have to buy that crimping tool or will anyone work?
Yes, crimping tools are an important safety step, and we highly recommend these hydraulic pliers.
So you only used command strips not the screws?
Yes, in case of stability you can use it, our led channel kit also has screws included!
@@MuzataCableRailingLEDChannel in my case I can’t screw into the wall, so I plan on putting command strips on each end. Thank you!
What oil you using?
Shell Tellus S2 VX 15 This is a hydraulic fluid that is best changed every so often!
My deck has some weird 30/60 degree angles on the edges. Would a system like this work for that? Would I have to start/stop the cable at each angle?
I would like to know about you and your needs, you can contact us through our email and social media for easy resolution: instagram.com/muzata_railing Email - support@muzata.com
How far back do you mark the cable for the steel posts?
Mark the cable after tightening it from the right end post, and after marking it again 2 inches from point A, cut it with cable cutters
Finally. Someone that can talk about the installation instead of the weather and why they moved somewhere.
Actually, we want to share more information that is useful to people is more important than anything else.
What type of oil is it?
Shell Tellus S2 VX 15 hydraulic oil, if you feel that there are impurities in the oil / feel that the pressure is not quite enough, you can also try to change the oil
What is the longevity of this total project before repairs will be needed? Looks beautiful but I’d be concerned about ongoing annual repairs.
There is no very accurate time, but ideal conditions can be maintained for 1-2 years, but most of the outdoor affected by the type of material, environmental conditions and installation, do not do any maintenance, the life of the balustrade will be greatly shortened, especially in harsh environmental conditions so it is recommended to do regular maintenance; you want to choose the same type of cable railing, if you have a customized plan, you can fill out the form for your Exclusive design railing: muzatarailing.com/pages/free-design-service
what's the depth that you drill to? One inch on both ends?
Drilled 20mm at top, 10mm at bottom
Thank you, this is exactly what I needed
Glad it helped!
🎉
muzata web site does not have ANY specs on hardware. You have to ask for EVERY spec. and they seem to FAVOR certain hardware and FORGET repeatly to reply on OTHER hardware (seems they have excess inventory? more expensive? ) Other cable suppliers have spec on their web sites.................. much easier to shop elsewhere
What’s the used tape you installed your diffuser with im really struggling
Maybe you can look for Command Large Picture Hanging Strips, which our collaborators are using
Smart!!!
The screws they provide to go into the rail are not self- tapping. Some instructions on what diameter to drill the holes would have been helpful.
Hey, thanks for your suggestion. Have you purchased any of our rails, if so I will let you know the exact drilling diameter as different rails correspond to different sizes😁. We have newly released a video for this rail drilling installation you can refer to: ruclips.net/video/l2NQfu8i8ZU/видео.html
So why are you putting your bolts in vices?
To hold it in place.
im aware what vices do, i meant why do you need to hold it.@@MuzataCableRailingLEDChannel
A la Nasa guevon.
Kind of nifty
Yeah those Nail heads
Great idea!!
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Use an impact driver. use a drill with a clutch and back the screw out then forwards until seated properly. Use the proper sized drill bit to drill and even countersink your material before you fasten. All the wax/soap is gonna do is encourage the screw to move or back out over time
Or just put your back into it
Or…. Here me out… you learn a proper scarf joint of some kind rather than random screws through your project. OR, use clamping cauls of the opposite angle, OR literally just stretch some blue tape across the joint and it’ll hold well enough for the glue to set up. This is a last resort garbage solution.
Great video!
Thanks for watching, it would be great if you could learn something from it!😃
I so hate how my voice sounds on video HAHA! 🤣 As mentioned in the video , my wishes are: a tap for a drill to create threads in wood would SO greatly enhance the installation. using one of the screws works well though! And a much longer tool for the lower wire on stairs. People are very impressed with the final result! So nice not seeing any turnbuckles or hardware on the posts. Nice clean install
After installing, I DID look at other brands for comparison. I would still go with the CR73 as it has the simplest design, cleanest look, and is DIY friendly! Great product, great support from the company!
Thanks again for your support and our team has been putting a lot of effort into the clean and crisp look of the cable railing and it's nice to have it recognized by most people. We are also glad that it can be a part of your home, looking forward to more of your work in the future, and please feel free to let us know if you have any questions, we will try our best to solve your troubles.
Nice beginner video. I have a wiring project in the near future and I believe this will help me get started. Thanks!
Good job 👍
Thanks 😃
What kink of blade did you use to cut the railing? Diamond?
Andrew used a metal blade.
You will do less damage to the wood by using a small straight screwdriver under the edge of the screw, then use the drill in reverse. As the screw turns the flat head screwdriver will catch a thread in the spiral and the screw will back out.
Why?
You left out one of the most important parts, which is where exactly to cut the wire f🤦🏻
Thanks for the heads up! We have released a new CB05 installation video this year, which goes through each step and the exact location to cut the cable, this is the newly released video: ruclips.net/video/TKoHZRr2Bb0/видео.htmlsi=qpwrp7beCNqzpWNU&t=124
agree it is not hard, just time consuming. More accurate you are, the better the results!
Yes. And I couldn't agree more, the perfect finished product always takes a little time.
yea, as I mentioned many times you need MANY lengths of this tool. This one, and the smaller supplied one, can both hit stair treads. Need a very long one for doing stairs! Lube the screws with soap if you struggle to install the anchors. Very impressed with the kit. But please make a much longer tool too
Great advice, we'll pass it on to our team, thanks.
@MuzataCableRailingLEDChannel see my review showing the need for a much longer tool. ruclips.net/video/cHGOJL_LTlA/видео.htmlsi=cKj6uEtElakmpScE
