Never in a million years would I have thought to use scraps to pop up those ladies!!! Genius idea! I also enjoyed watching your painting process so much. I never add enough water, so I never feel satisfied with my outcomes. Now I see how much water and more water will make a difference! So beautiful.

Thankful for replays! I slept right through the alarm for the stream, such a fun challenge. In My Opinion...having a conversation with another Christ follower in public is a wonderful thing, non believers can see that more than just one odd person loves the Lord, that will make them curious.

Before I got my gel plate, I used a page protector, cut apart, and placed on a hard, smooth surface for smooth designs. It worked fine, as long as you didn't use too much paint. You may want to give that a try. I also have friends who use a stiff acetate sheet, and pull prints from that. Thanks for the video.

I did a tag last week with a cricut mat package, it came out just like yours with the ziplock only it also pulled the texture from the table I was working on. It turned out cool but I did order a gel plate. Thank you for showing the comparison!! I'll be glad to have the option to do either one going forward. The technique after it dries and lifts .... wow, you said it! Magic 😊

Thank you for sharing your experiment, even though I have a gel plate, I might try this for a different look. Before I got the gel plate, I covered 3 layers of fun foam with saran wrap for a gel plate, it worked ok, but of course wasn't as yummy as a gel plate.

So, when I posted my first message, I had not watch all of your video. Now that I’ve heard Lorri’s intro, I’m balling and smiling at the same time. Because I just love how God works and sees the bigger picture. Praise the Lord, that he presented a solution that helped you both! And especially during this time of grieving for Lorri, there is a whole community now that can be praying for her and showing her love. Thank you both for sharing your heart! I will be keeping Lorri on my prayer list as she moves through this difficult season. She is such an inspiration!

You can sturdy up thinner magazine covers by gluing some pages together and adding some fabric to the spine. Love this idea!
