OMG I HAVE LISTENED TO THE BIGGER HALF THESE SONGS BEFORE and i always lowkey wondered what kind of specific style of music they would be considered as😭 tysm for this video, i love watching literally anything vkei related on youtube. hope u can make more of these in the future :D

Good stuff, where could I find more vkei/ gothic japanese rock? I know of Malice Mizer but that is really it.
There's quite a lot of vkei/gothic japanese rock! Some of the bands I've put in this video also have quite a lot gothic rock songs (quite the overlap of genres 😅) So you can start by listening to them first. Other bands that I can think of is ROUGE, FANATIC CRISIS and some Penicillin!
If you use Spotify, just listen through some visual kei playlists, it's a pretty good way to explore various bands (if not, there are playlists on yt as well). Malice Mizer are pretty unique but give Moi Dix Mois a try since Mana from MM is in it and the vocalist has a similar vibe to MM's vocalists. Also check out Gackt's solo work, he's really talented. I think Közi has some solo music as well but I didn't listen to it yet. Then I'd recommend to start with some older bands that shaped VK like Buck-Tick, LUNA SEA, Shazna, Kuroyume, X-Japan (Buck-Tick are my personal favourite). Then it really depends if you have any preferences, if you like heavier sound as well, DIR EN GREY are one of the best bands but they're kinda edgy, it can take you some time to warm up to them :D but they also have some beautiful ballads. In case DEG is too heavy for you, try Sukekiyo, same genius vocalist, softer instrumentals. Aaand then I guess here's a random list of bands I like/think are worth a listen: The Gazette Versailles Plastic Tree D Phantasmagoria An Cafe MUCC Girugamesh Lycaon Deluhi Monolith Diaura Exist Trace Nocturnal Bloodlust I don't really know any newer bands formed after 2010, I'm actually exploring myself lately :) Hope this helps! Have fun, there are SO many amazing bands in this genre and the great thing about it is the variety and freedom (and iconic fashion of course). ❤🖤💜
