well, that was first time hands on, programming a melodic sequence and including in a "regular" arrangement would be "musically pleasing" for sure, that instrument is perfect for sound design and drone patches but is a perfect way to learn about impredectible instruments like syntrx or soma´s and in a modular enviroment would be a very useful tool

That is the right answer to me! I am planning to build a modular system connected to my DAW, and was wondering if Solar 42 has enough patch points to integrate it into such a hybrid system. Can I send pitch voltage to its oscillators, can I put other modules through its effects, so on and so forth. If yes, it would totally be worth the price.

of couse YES!! with a crave, an edge, a keystep or any synth with usb midi and cv in/outs you can integrate modular to the daw to send clock, and solar could be a very good add on, like syntrx, soma´s, or semimodular

keystep pro is a very, very, vey usefull midi/usb/cv bridge, if your thinkin about an independent bridge device take a look to soma´s metaconformer
