This is really helpful and inspiring many thanks :) must admit my first thought when you were marking the in/out points for the joint hole was to use calipers
1 Why don't you just align both handles together, lock them with an elastic and leave it as is until it dries? Don't both spoons together already create your 2 part mold if they're both perfect half spheres? 2 What is your cat saying at 19:37 & 19:44??? Sounds important.
This is such a great idea, using the round-style teaspoons to start with. What do you use when you want to make larger joints than would fit even a couple of round tablespoons?
Pro-tip -- Righty tighty, lefty loosey. A way to remember which way to turn anything (including screws) for either tighting/loosening or screwing in and screwing out.
Thanks for the info. I just created a RUclips channel, under a different name and the dolls I am using are kind of a BJD. I have a big issue with their elastic stretching and they are not standard ball jointed dolls. So fixing them is a real struggle. I did speak with a lady at a doll show in my city and she suggested trying to repair them the way an actual BJD is strung. So I am looking at different ways to make them work again. Thanks again! Edit: I subscribed :)
